There are four different changes to the K-Lite Codec Pack. From a very small package, which essentially contains the most important decoders, to a generous and extensive package. General differences between options can be found in weight loss. Detailed differences can be found in the capacity comparison and comparison on the content pages.
These codec packs are compatible with Vista / 7/8/8 windows.1 / 10. Older versions Also with XP.
The included codec contains both 32-bit and 64-bit codecs, so they work fine on both x86 and x64 flavors of Windows!

The additional components included in the larger versions certainly do not benefit most of the users who are usually logged in.

- Certain ACM / VFW codecs such as Lagarith and x264VFW – This codec setting is used by some video editing / encoding applications to work with AVI data. For example VirtualDub.
These codecs are definitely videos used or required for playback.
Important Note: The K-Lite Codec Pack does not in any way extend the import capabilities of professional digital video editors such as Vegas Studio Movie plus Adobe Premiere. These applications often only allow you to import a small group of file formats and do not support the use of the codecs included x to this codec pack (DirectShow / VFW). Modern publishers often only use their own internal codecs, or generally only support external codecs like Media Foundation.
And some additional optional DirectShow filters:

Provides some filters to change the decoded audio and video decoder.
- ffdshow audio / video decoder,
alternative LAV choice for audio / video decoders.
- AC3Filter, an alternative to the LAV audio decoder.
Important note: the additional filters described above are not installed by default. We also do not recommend using old filters. They are included only for every type of small group that people have a good reason to use. We strongly recommend using standard decoders from the new package. It is better.
Important note. All the additional features of Mega are useful for a small group of men and women. It does not provide playback functionality in additional audio or video formats. If you are only interested in reading, the following completeversion.
