Hello everyone. I’m trying to set up an Ubuntu netbook for my mom who is confused with computers. I bought an image to install the boot desktop on a new netbook, created a USB drive to boot, then restarted my computer by pressing F2 to change the boot order. With the “+” I could see the exact key [Removable Dev.] Above: Boot “1st Device”, but still, and here’s the thing, it is incompetent: “Devince in parentheses would be disabled in the corresponding menu form.” I don’t understand, don’t do what to do. Please help …. Elad

The easiest way is to use filtering systems that POST to Esc as a system and then select their USB drive from our boot menu.

I can’t remember the exact terminology, but there is an additional option on the main screen for selecting a drive to help you be the first. This must be set before the boot order option.

How the computer performs the power-on self-test, commonly known as POST. In other words, if your company displays an Eee logo screen or you turn it off, you will see specific information about what is being done.
Press the corresponding on / off button, then press Esc key, the start menu will open.

Computer Information
Maybe I should get involved first: This is an Asus Eee PC netbook running Windows Starter 7. The BIOS setup can be accessed by pressing the F2 key during boot. The problem is that although I was able to get the USB stick that was in BIOS versus “Removable Dev”. Elad
