Step 1: Confirm the default local print service provider

1. Use regedit to find every keypress in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Print
2. Click to highlight the print key in Regedit and export the key as a .reg file for backup.copy (File> Export).
3. Find the port registration key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Print Monitors Local Port
4. Verify that the driver value in the port key of the local registry is set to Localspl.dll. Otherwise, double-click most of the driver value to change the data string and also install Localspl.dll.
Step 2. Remove the reinstall and the problematic printer again using the latest version of the appropriate driver.
