[ALLOWED] Yum Transaction Validation Failed
Is there a Yum transaction check error on CentOS?
I am having problems trying to pass the Yum transaction validation error and I am unable to redesign packages on my 64 bit PC running CentOS 6.6. Below is the error message, the batch file has been tried so far and I currently have some delicious leftovers. Any concepts or suggestions that might help? Subject: Yum Transaction Failed
I checked if I could detect an initial ffmpeg-compat-0.6.7-1.el6.x86_64 conflict by deleting the rpmforge repository
$ sudo yum consider rpmforge-release

Please do not practice –skip-broken, it is broken and I cannot understand why the developers made a silly suggestion in the related error message. What it really means is, “Your lesson is interrupted, if you want to break it again, do it!”
Your illness is that you have conflicting packages attached to various third party repositories. Your typical installation contains a package for rpmforge (hence the name .rf). You are working on replacing this proposal with a newer one that you are hosting from a different repository, but all packages are structured differently. You can uninstall the current set of packages first, but this usually results in other independent packages being selected, or try andUse yum pass to remove a set of packages as well as installation overrides in a single transaction.
I cannot guarantee this will work. Unfortunately I think this is a much better attempt at what –skip-broken is.

Thanks for the good advice, Trevor.
I tried it, the house seemed to work, but there were always other transaction errors, below is usually a sample output.
