Did you know that today I spent more than two hours on the phone? from the earlive support of the Fifth Third Bank Quicken. His last response is, “That’s not all, call Quicken.” Then I called Quicken and the support team spoke for the better part of two hours and they answered, “Of course not, call Fifth Third.” And that’s not to mention the weeks I’ve been trying to figure out why Quicken stopped loading after the January 26th update or so. I was advised to try a few different things that didn’t work.

While configuring how online accounts download all transactions and keep me posted, I still didn’t have the guts to test one account. Or worse yet, try Update All. I’ll help you sleep and try to work up the courage under your pillow to try it tomorrow morning.

In the meantime, your good answer prompted me to find a final solution. In fact, I still have a lot of work to do in securing and clearing memory-related recipients to figure out why my credit accounts no longer affect payments and interest, and I also usually confirm the correctness of the entries in the documents andtransactions. But

I usually sleep well today … I dream about your magic solution and try not to worry about the fact that I had to wait so long for the correct answer from Queeken.

Can you install Quicken 2012 on Windows 8?

Thanks a lot, a few times, the process went fine. Installed Quicken 2012, I accessed it twice and left everything fine. So now I will probably try to restore data from backups associated with Windows 8 Database Acceleration.

Thanks for the reply and all the additional details.

Can you upgrade successfully if you upgrade through registration?

Open a transaction and create an account for an account that will never be loaded.

Click the gear icon at the top of the tab and select Update Now.

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the update.

Repeat these parts for each account with this error.

Received Will you receive error messages if you try this update this way?

Could you confirm the Quicken connection channel? The steps to find a channel are listed below.

While holding down the F4 key on your keyboard, select Help> About Quicken

What to do if Quicken installation is not completed?

Right-click the installer and select Properties. In the Properties window, find the Compatibility tab. Uncheck Run this specific program in compatibility mode for under Compatibility mode. Click Apply and then OK. Retry the installation. Was this article helpful? Yes indeed!

You should see QCS or FDS. If you are in QCS, please select, as soon as “Change Channel” can be finished, please update it again.

Thanks for the answer and for sharing the results of this test with me. We need to take a few more steps to completely solve the problem.

I need the following steps to change the web link method to QCS. To do this, hold down the F4 key and choose Help Keyboard> About Quicken.

Here you need to deactivate all accounts in the directory. This is necessary to fix the problem.QCS download method so that you don’t have any problems downloading in the future.

deactivate your account. Please read the information available here. To reactivate a we account, proceed as if we were adding a corresponding new account so that we can link all accounts at the same time. To start

our process, select (+). Usually, log in in the upper left corner. Then find that financial institution and sign in.

You will then link the accounts you find to data in Quicken. Be careful not to ADD accounts or you will have duplicate accounts.
