MSN Messenger existed from 2001 to about mid-2005 in versions 1.0 through 7.5. He then fell victim to Microsoft’s search for a new identity for the Windows Live brand.
Can you still use MSN Messenger?
Microsoft’s MSN Messenger, now known as Windows Live Messenger, will be completely removed on October 31st. The software maker originally announced that it would switch users entirely to Skype last year, but Microsoft has kept the service in China.
Windows Live ID (also known as Passport) may have more temporary difficulties logging into your account.
Often, if you really wait a few minutes and try to reconnect, you will find that a difficult task has been solved. If you have done so or the problem persists for a long time, please take note of the following steps:
1. Be sure to save the work you know and then close any open windows on your desktop.
For Windows several hundred and Windows XP: Click the button in the lower left corner of the screen, start, then select Shut Down. After clicking the Shut Down button, you may often see one in the center of the LCD screen with a dropdown box asking where to start your computer. Select From, restart the list and just click OK.

Why was MSN Messenger discontinued?
MSN Messenger could be supported in China through a partnership with the Chinese media company TOM Group. The affiliate company ceased to exist last year due to a dispute between the TOM Group and Skype over new users that Skype acquired during its 9 years of existence in China in connection with Business Insider.

4. If youfound and blocked the firewall software in Two, it needs to be turned on again. Right-click the firewall software icon again and select Enable, or click in front of Enabled to check the box. See your software firewall documentation for instructions on how to turn it back on.
Why can I not connect to MSN com?
