I had a very confusing problem with my wireless card in Ubuntu. After a reboot, it will definitely be disabled and there is no other way to get it back other than turning off the laptop and turning it off in another way. Status according to Network Manager: “Device not ready”. This happens regularly.

Reboot your computer. If the message “Invalid invalid page in module kernel32.Use Windows Update to update your computer with almost any new Windows-related fixes or services that may be available.Recover rather damaged password list files.Repair your broken thumb.
Before updating the distribution, I seem to have used a custom build of rt3290sta/2.6.0.0
(compiled from source and loaded via DKMS), which worked fine for the most part, but is not required to work with newer kernels and seems to have been removed anyway. So now I’ve enabled fallback to rt2800
and have maintained this issue ever since.

This appears to be a very old but recurring issue. I have read all theWe who could find, but as a result no luck. Luckily for me, this isn’t required as I rarely reboot, but it’s annoying and boring to say the least.
The following is the output of some commands that might be of interest (this is sort of a post-reboot state):
