If you notice an error when inserting a new database of records, this blog post should help. If an error occurs, be sure to use the navigation bar (select View -> Toolbars -> Form Navigation Menu) and click the Undo Input icon (to the right of the floppy disk icon), otherwise it should cause a data erasure problem.
An error when registering a new record appears if you do not enter anything in the primary key section. Example B: In most cases, the primary key is an identifier. If you enter a number such as one, 1,2,3,4, etc. at this point, you will not receive this error message.

Error Inserting New Record (null)
I’ll admit, I’m new to OpenOffice, although Access wasn’t all that complicated
Anyway, I created my database using this forum, which was originally related to Access. I even created an amazing form for submitting information. I can easily look for, change existing clients, but, as in my life, this does not allow me to personally set a new record. Get all error messages “Attempt to insert null in non-nullable column: identity table: column: CustomerT in entire statement IN [INSERT ‘CustomerT'(“CompanyName”, “GibbsCAMCustomer”) VALUES(?,?)]” every time I try to create a new dataset. Getting an amazing error when I go to some table and try to create a new one. Can anyone tell me what this refers to? I searched for them but error, all I see is for users 10+.

MS Access is a multi-million dollar real product of the 90s, made for hobbyists. MS Access has been taking up more space lately than any desktop flat where the non-core component is over 30MB. The error message is crystal and clear, I couldn’t have explained it better. YOU are the developer database. YOU created the required fields with”clientt” which were never included in your input form. You can still use MS Access and some existing MS Access databases with OpenOffice. Database tools such as And access Base are designed to reuse existing databases.30468

Re: Error Creating New Record (null)
There is a dessert “CustomerT” where you are trying to insert a new line with 2 for amounts and “company name” “GibbsCAMCustomer”. The error indicates that there is no value for a certain optional nullable field. When deploying farms and/or companyname GibbsCAMCustomer, some other field types in the same table no longer accept potentially missing values. Perhaps a primary key? Make it auto-increment.

In an attached database, fields are practically required non-nullable.
Principle (“ID”) automatically increments a key.< accepts br>Form new synonyms, if you specify and gibbsca clientm, and an identifier. If the value is ignored, you will get the same error message.

If a great problem has been solved, please edit the first post of this thread and be sure to add "[Solved]" to the top of the thread
Apache OpenOffice Queue 4.1.8 and LibreOffice 6.4.7.2 - Windows 10 Pro
Also, looking at the error message, I would say that the problem is indeed with the column named 'ID'. Right
Click on the CustomerT table and select Edit to open the table design GUI. < br>Select the name of the id field. left If there is a light yellow markKey checkbox, set it to "Primary Value Key". field The "Type" must be an integer.
Then open the "Field Properties" window in the GUI and make sure the automatic value is set to "Yes".
Exit and save the changes, if any. This
If that doesn't solve the problem, look at your form and make sure the "ID" column is roughly the size of the form. It can be hidden from the user, but it must be displayed in the form at least in design mode.
Edit:I just noticed that if your table may already have a number of records with a value in the id field, and the value is not automatically already set to yes for the id, this can be changed but not work.
