Over the past week, some users have reported that the ip phone record security bug has been fixed.
This could certainly be caused by file 1 or a ctl stored on the phone…I’ve seen this before when I checked phones from secure cluster files (ctl and used it to move phones from my 8.0 beta (new system file, itl for even insecure clusters).

Go to settings/settings CTL, security, search, press **# to unlock settings, delete search.
You may need to select the CTL file and then click Next/Remove, or something along the lines of… Think
