How can I fix the Hamachi error in Counter-Strike?

It looks like some of our users got the famous Hamachi Counterattack error message. This problem can arise for several reasons. Let’s discuss it now.

– The person creating the local network should create a file as server alias.txt
– This file should be alias.txt in the entire Hamachi installation directory.

With this aliases.txt music file you create an “alias” for our friend who wants to join your LAN server with a different IP range, for example our IP range.

– Due to the peculiarities of the CS game protocol, on the contrary, it does not work.

– Each line of the alias.txt file contains a pair of IP addresses:

– When you have created an alias for your friend, you need to restart Install Hamachi (and not just press Power OFF and turn it on) !!!

Example if 1 friend wants him to join my server

I have created an internet hosting server on the local network, my IP is 5.1.57.145 => my family member, who wants to join my web host server LAN IP:

– his IP has a different IP range than my IP, so I need an “alias” to create one
File aliases on my computer. txt contains a couple of IP addresses:

Example 3 friends want to join our own server

I created a server, lan my IP is 5.1.57.145 => my friends should have joined the IP addresses of my LAN server:

– Y your IP addresses are different. The IP address range is greater than my IP address, so I need to configure file “aliases” for them
My alias.txt provides a pair of IP addresses:

Summary:

1. Find out the z IP addresses of your friend who wants to join the current server
2. Create aliases for it (if its IP addresses are different From your IP range)
3. Restart Hamachi.
4. Create a local network. server
5. Fun game 🙂

Create a game on the local network

1. Join different Hamachi networks and start the game

2. Select “New game” -> select a map -> define your server -> launch LAN

join the game

1. Join the Hamachi network and think about the game

2. Select Find Server -> LAN -> Connect

If you get the error “LAN servers are definitely limited to local clients (class C)”. => Your friend who created the LAN server might make a mistake in alias.txt or forget to edit all Hamachi
