The same thing happens with my vision (with all kernels in F9 - up to the latest version 2.6.25.14-108.fc9.x86_64). All downloadableIn my core, I see:ACPI: error adding software dataACPI: error while adding device dataACPI: error while placing device dataACPI: error while adding device databefore the answer "The core is alive." I'll attach my dmesg. Is the program connected to read the temperature sensor, because my / proc / acpi / Thermal_zone directory is empty during F9 (the file "temperature" is used for this). This is probably why I also cannot see the temperature through the Gnome Sensors applet, but I shouldn't know if this is due to the reported ACPI bugs.

This was fixed upstream and contained using the 2.6.26-rc1 kernel.http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9354The latest Fedora 9 / stable kernel contribution to the "acpi: Attaching hardware information" error message disappears. Can other journalists confirm the same?
