Over the past few days, a number of readers have reported an Outlook 2007 SSL certificate error.
Approved: Fortect
I have a primary user who is still using Windows XP + Outlook 2007. He uses an email account for search engine applications over IMAP with SSL on port 993
The time on this computer system is set correctly and all updates have been installed (including optional root course updates)
The https website is working fine, usually Outlook sees this process error. After doing a lot of researchon Google before posting, I also met people who said that I can check the SSL status in Internet Explorer under Internet -> Content Options -> Clear SSL Status in conjunction with clearing SSL. Should remove online status. Explorer.
Can anyone suggest an additional fix to at least try to “modify” such a bug?
When I download Outlook 2007 and connect it to the Exchange server, I get an error saving data every time. I checked the error, the certificate has expired. I ran New-GenerateCertificate on Exchange 2007 machine and generated a certificate that increased on 6/2010, but Outlook still shows all expired certificates. What should I do to get Outlook to recognize most of the new certificate or move the exchange off the new certificate?

You must remove the retro certificate from the Exchange server. MS has special instructions for creating a new one and deleting an old one. Make sure the certificate is being used correctly. You can and should install IMAP on POP3, HTTPS, etc. if you plan on using OWA or Outlook Express clients.

Ok, I made sure that there are no alternative certificates in the system. I also generated the current certificate again (see below). I removed the email account from rotation and checked my system for certificates related to the exchange … when I scheduled a new email account and forced it to look for exchange again, it immediately showed up with an error certificate … 03 / 05.08 – 03.05.09. I forgot to mention this in my previous post. We virtualized our company’s exchange server and p2v didn’t work as expected, so we’re done

Everything went well … I just have a certification error and I can guess why my view gets blocked by 99% on certain send / receive.

Ok, I went through everything that is listed in this article. I definitely took a step towards Unified Messaging because no one had Unified Messaging installed. I removed my Exchange account from Outlook and replaced it. Unfortunately, an error has occurred. The same has expired from PLESK. AtI am getting a certificate error if that helps.

Hmm … I decided to check if there are any improvements available for trading. I downloaded KB968012 to change it and tried this certificate again. The exact error is gone. ??? The system rebooted even after the update. I’m confused but it works without a certificate error without a second thought.

The newly generated certificate only generates a request to be sent to the provider. You take this Signature Request, submit it to Verisign or Digicert, and some people will generate it.
