You may run into the Eggdrop Error no Telnet port. As it turns out, there are several steps you can take to fix this problem, which we’ll talk about a little later.

Obviously I finished searching and nothing could hide it. I asked my bot to connect to the server and set up security. However, when I tried to run:
Quote:
/ ctcp CHAT
I received a message:
Quote:
Michelle ERROR response: no Telnet port
< / table>
I have also always been unable to speak to all DCC bots because they are said to be waiting for approval and never go further. So, I went to run the installation and changed the port after a few intervals, then went back to Telnet and ran:
Quote:
./eggdrop Michelle.conf
To force it to use the last config file with the new port (although the bot stayed on the server this time, I think it will never restart due to this idle time) However, I had the same problem, which I definitely don’t I don’t think that it has to do with the field that the bot is listening to.

Are you sure the person in the .conf file listened to all or the position of the bots? Also, are you sure you are giving them an IP address over telnet? _________________ When the game is over, much more than a king and a pawn return to one square.

Yes, this is for everyone. Also I didn’t telnet, tried using CTCP from IRC.

Did you ignore the list port line comment?

Yes, I have …
Quote:
# If you want a bot to track users and bots on broken ports, # Use the following format: # # refrigerator 3333 bots # 4444 when user hears # # If you only want to use a personal port, use this format: # # new music 3333 everyone # # You must comment out this line type and change the port number when you open # listening port. It would be nice not to leave this offer in order to get 3333. hear all 3333
I think this is the one used because it says that if I run Eggdrop from Telnet now, it will listen on that port.
If you (during startup) notice something like “Listening on your port xxx”, call its internet protocol address and port xxx, or try again with our own ctcp chat on irc. see if that helps. _________________ As soon as the game is over, the king and pawn return to the same main square.

I tried to connect to the redbox.copaseticnet.com, especially where I posted it with the field number, but nothing happens, so I timed out another connection. The same thing happens when I rely on his IP address.
