1. Are Both LEDs Green On All Devices?
Make sure all AirTies APs on the mesh have two green LEDs on the front when the 8 GHz LED is blinking short and slow.
- If one or more resources flash green for a long time, they are not connected to the mesh network and are not working. The best way to get rid of this is to restart your network. See Restoring Factory Settings on AirTies Devices.
- See section “AirTies to access point LED” – signals an investigation and follow the advice.
2. Are These AirTies Configured Correctly And Are All Other Wireless Networks In The Home Turned Off?
Make Sure The Ethernet Cable Is Frequently Connected To The Correct Device
The AirTies process should always be connected directly to the router using an Ethernet cable or any other device used as a router.
So, if you have a multifunctional device with a large built-in router, this is the device that the AirTies hotspot should contact.
If you have a separate router as a modem, the AirTies access point must always be connected to the router.
Disable Wireless Stereos On Other Devices
Wireless radios on all devices other than access points must be permanently disabled. Log into your custom router and the settings will disable 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless devices so your wireless network isn’t just compromised.
3. Have You Saved The SSID And Only The Password For Two Identical Frequency Bands?
Go to http: //air4920.local (or http: //air4930.local) or use the Airties Wi-Fi app to check who is using 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Service providers are always fine-tuned with the same names for socialization. (SSID) and passwords.
For other types of devices, it is common to configure different SSIDs for the frequency bands – the best connection at any time is the best.
4. Are The Access Points Well Located Fortiya?
Use the AirTies WiFi app to test connections between related devices and your clients.
Check The Connection Between AirTies And Devices
Use an app to help you check if the wireless connection between devices is correct. Otherwise, you can bring them closer or for better visibility of each other.
Some house layouts and building materials will be more difficult here than others. Find out 10 things that get in the way and block Wi-Fi signals.
Check The Connection Between The Customer And The Access Point
Use an application that allows you to check the reliability of the connection between your clients and the access points to which this type of product is connected. If the connection is really weak, it could be because the entry point is not optimally located for coverage sharing. Note that this also depends on the skills of the buyer – older smartphones, tablets and PCs do not tolerate well than new ones, even if the specific coverage is good.
InstructionsRefer to the AirTies Home Pack Hosting Guide for AirTies hosting instructions.
5. Does The Router Have Enough IP Addresses To Allocate?
If this client (computer, cell phone, tablet) needs to connect to the network but cannot actually use it, the DHCP server of a separate router may not have IP addresses for refrigerators and freezers to distribute. It must have enough addresses for all AirTies devices and clients on the Internet so that it almost always has its own address.
Check If The Client Has An IP Address
- Windows: Press the Windows key in cmd mode and when a terminal window opens, type ipconfig. Check which internal IP address is listed.
- Mac or Linux: Enter “ifconfig” into an open airport terminal. Check which internal IP address is actually listed.
- Android: Settings> Information> Name status.
- iOS (iPhone / iPad): Settings> WLAN> Tap the network you are connected to.
You cannot have an address starting with 169.254 – the most common: 192.168.1, 192.168.0.n, 172.16.nn, 10.nnn, where the number is foundThey range from 0 to 255.
Check Your Router’s DHCP Settings
It differs from manufacturer to manufacturer, but you have to go into the structure of the router (usually by connecting to the whole network) and find the setting to work with DHCP zone, DHCP zone, etc.
