Sometimes your PC might return an error with error code 2250 Workstation Service XP. There are many reasons that can cause this problem.

The workstation solution failed with error 2250 (0x8CA) related to a specific service. Since the workstation cannot boot, some other services corresponding to the network also fail to boot. This solves the following problem. Computer 2 plus 3 can see all other computers on the network, including computer 1.

If you try to start the workstation service, you will receive a message like this:
Windows was unable to configure the workstation on the local computer. See the system event log for more information. If it’s not Microrosft, contact your specific service provider and look for service-specific error codes 2550.
Then, if you look in the event viewer syslog, you should find the following:

Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: No

The workstation service was interrupted due to service error (0x8CA) 2250.

Description:
Failed to load driver for rdbss engine.
This is most likely a missing or corrupt rdbss.sys file. The rdbss.sys file must be in this folder:
c: windows system32 drivers
We know that XP stores copies of important system documents in this folder:
c: windows system32 dllcache
So you can just send the text of the rdbss.sys file from c: windows system32 dllcache and paste it into that folder:
c: windows system32 drivers
Your best answer is when you are asked to overwrite the current file.
If you cannot find a copy of our file in the c: windows system32 dllcache folder, depending on your installation, the file in this folder may be simulated:
c: windows ServicePackFiles i386
In any case, you need to replace the current rdbss.sys file.
Make sure you can start Workstation with that particular service after replacing the rdbss.sys file.
