Best Way To Fix Toshiba Machine False Error

I am currently trying to restoreToshiba 1415-Set laptop using the included recovery CD in conjunction with the Apon download. I get the error “Wrong computer” – but this is our correct software. A quick google search is a common mistake, better known but unrelated … does some other technology know how to deal with this shit?

The post was removed from the crappy forums on toshiba / compuserve, but they mostly stumbled upon the fact that I downloaded ftp://docmark.net/uuidw900.exe, ran it on a floppy disk from the beginning and started the laptop with it. … Then I saved the system name, model number and serial number that were on the sticker that you pasted on the bottom of the device, and they went to the system.
