I updated IE8 with Update, Windows, but still having the same problems. I also downloaded Station Launcher to see if it improves, but the same problem occurs. As said, it cannot fix the proxy name by itself, I also deleted my company proxy settings even if they are disabled while I am in this hotel. I visited the Station Launcher forum as such and was able to connect to the first page of the experience without any problems, speedtes gives the following result. I have upgraded to IE8 using Windows Update, but am still experiencing the same issues.
I also downloaded the starter station to see if the program would be better, but I am asking for a similar problem. Station Launcher log file has a slightly different selection error.

I downloaded the new LaunchPad.exe manually using IE and updated it manually without too much trouble, but the problems remained the same.
This means that it cannot resolve the proxy server I named and also remove the proxy server settings for my company, even if they are disabled during my stay at the hotel.
I also attended the Station Launcher discussions and was able to connect to this first test page without any problems, its speed gave me the following result.
