Try enabling Wake on LAN on my 5 year old Asus motherboard with integrated network card. If you try to explore and activate this feature in the bio, you still won’t be able to find where it is.

Please note that for the purposes of this guide, I am using my personal computer with an ASUS X299 motherboard. My motherboard also has 2 network connections, so I set Nur wol to the second of 2. just for the purpose of this tutorial.

Windows Settings

The first thing you need to do is disable Fast Startup. If this parameter is absent, it probablyHowever, completely disabled, it will be disabled if someone previously disabled hibernation with powercfg / h disabled.

4. Also, depending on your network adapter, you may just need to go to someone’s Advanced tab and enable something like On Wake Magic Pack or On Wake Shutdown, or enable PME as shown below.
   
5. This should be all you need on the Windows side. Now I need to access your UEFI in order to configure the low-level settings.

UEFI Settings

Now that we’ve configured Windows correctly, we can configure a few things via UEFI.

1. The easiest way to bypass UEFI in Windows 10 is now to hold down the Shift key during a critical restart when you get to the new Troubleshoot menu, then click once in the UEFI firmware settings that you would normally restart in UEFI.
   
2. The process for using UEFI depends on the product driver. As previously mentioned, this guide will mainly focus on But there are usually similar options, all the way down to Gigabyte, MSI, EVGA, etc.
3. Press “F7” to enter advanced mode. In advanced mode, go through the following sections
