Select a Windows installation by typing the number corresponding to each successful installation and pressing Enter. You can only have one.

When you get to the command line , enter the following command and press Enter.
fixmbr -
Confirm with Y.
The fixmbr utility writes the master boot record to the hard drive from which you are currently booting Windows XP. This will repair any damage that might otherwise damage the Master Boot Record.

Remove the Windows XP CD, select Shut Down, then press Enter to restart your computer.
Assuming yourher only problem was a corrupted master boot record, Windows XP should now start normally.
