You may see an error message indicating that this service pack will be installed. It turns out that there are several ways to solve this problem, so we’ll discuss them now. Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM.exe) is a command line artillery used to update Windows® images offline. There are two ways to add or remove packages offline using DISM. You can either submit an automated response to the offline image, or add or remove a package directly from the command line.

Use DISM with Windows Cabinet (.cab) or the offline Windows update installer (.msu) to install or remove music, enable updates, web service packs, language packs, and disable Windows features. Functions are optional aspects of the operating system kernel.
Syntax

Displays basic information about practical packages in an image. Use / Format: Table or / Format: List to view the product as a table or list.

/ Get-PackageInfo
Displays detailed information about the main package, represented as a .cab file. Only CAB files can be specified. You simply cannot use this command to get package information for .msu files. / The PackagePath tag can be a CAB file or any folder.
You can use the / Get-Packages option to display the package name in the photo, or you can specify the destination of the .cab file. The path in the CAB file must point to the original source of the package, not the Where file installed in the offline image.

/ Add Package
Sets the required .cab or .msu package to the view. The .msu package is only supported when the target image is offline, whether installed or applied.
Multiple packages can be specified in an additional command line . The applicability of each package associated with the package is verified. If the agreement cannot be applied to the specified appearance, you will receive an error message. Use the / IgnoreCheck argument if you want the command to be processed without checking the usefulness of each package.
Use the / PreventPending up parameter to skip the package installation, regardless of whether the package or Windows image has active Internet activities. (Introduced in Windows 8 / Windows PE 4.0).

- If the functions of the / PackagePath folder contain the most important new .cab or .msu files, all subfolders are also recursively mapped for .cab and .msu files.
- / Add-Package does not open the full utility and check for package dependencies. If you are adding a program with dependencies, make sure that all dependencies are installed when you add the package type.

/ Remove Package
Removes the specified .cab document package from the “from” image. Only .cab clips can be specified. This command cannot be used to delete .msu files.
! [Note]Using this acquisition to remove a package from a real package does not reduce the size of the snapshot.
You can use the / PackagePath parameter to instantiate the original package source, specify the path to the CAB registry, or specify the package by name, as shown in the following figure. Use the / Get-Packages parameter to find the package name in your image.

/ Get Opportunities
Displays basic information about all system functions (operating components that contain additional basic Windows functionality) in a sentence. You can use the / Get-Features option to find the package name across the entire image, or you can specify this path to the original package source. If you do not provide a fully qualified package name or path, all functions using the image will be listed. / Hint PackagePath could be a .cab file or possibly a folder.
Function names are used when you need to save a Windows image other than Windows 8.
