This issue occurs when the “Require SSL” configuration option is enabled on the Go Delinquenten site or virtual directory.
Note. By default, the new “Require SSL” configuration option is enabled on the default website when you install a useful Exchange Server service pack. In addition, the Require SSL configuration is virtually enabled in the article directories of the standard website.

Symptoms
When a user tries to sign in to Outlook Web App in Microsoft 365, the client receives an error message that resembles the following:
403
We regret! Access denied 🙁
The page may not be accessible or you do not have permission to open it. Please contact your Ultimate Communications Administrator to obtain the required credentials. For the new access data to take effect, you must close this window and log in again
Reason
This issue can occur if the user role MyBaseOptions is not currently enabled in the policy for the default assignment role.
Resolution
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 portal.
- Select “Administrator” and then select “Exchange” to open the Exchange Control Center.
- Select Permissions and then Role Users.
- Double-click the Default Role Assignment Policy.
- In the Default Role Assignment Policy window, make sure the MyBaseOptions checkbox under Other Jobs is selected, and then click SaveTake “.

I just updated my Exchange 2013 server to the latest version and users are requesting it
403 – Forbidden: Access Denied. You have and never will have permission to view this directory page with the credentials you provide. Page when trying to access owa given by mail.domain.com. However, https://mail.domain.com still works.

Symptoms On The Other Hand, Error
After configuring Exchange 2010 and integrating it into the NetScaler appliance, the following error appears when opening Outlook Web Access (OWA):
“403 – Forbidden: Access Denied”
Solution
If the service for Exchange is most likely configured to use HTTP and SSL offloading is enabled on the NetScaler appliance to successfully process Exchange SSL, the IIS Manager associated with the Client Access Server (CAS) should be automatically set to accept HTTP -connections.
To resolve this issue, complete the following task:

Select> Start IIS Manager> Default Web Site> OWA.

Double click SSL settings.
Click to accept client certificates.
Uncheck the “Require SSL” checkbox.
Cause Of The Problem
The error is due to a trust issue when opening OWA, and you can see that network traffic is being sent to the NetScaler appliance.

The 403 (Forbidden) status code indicates that the server has often understood the request, but rejects it – allow. If you encounter this symptom, it usually means that you are undoubtedly authenticated to the server, that is, you are logged in, but the resource you are requesting is waiting for someone with higher privileges.
HTTP response code 403 Forbidden patient error state indicates that the device understood the request but did not approve it. Access is denied forever and is associated with the application logic, of course, as insufficient rights to the resource.
