Having Problems With Acrobat Error 0x2d828acd?

Recently, some of our users informed us that they have Acrobat error 0x2d828acd.

Error opening PDF files in Adobe 7

We recently updated design 5 to version 7 (standard version), and when we try to open some documents on some of our systems with the new version, we get the following with Adobe auto shutdown:
CSpNotify notification window: Acrobat application .exe error Create and examine “0x2d828acd” in the memory pointed to by “0x00000008”. Failed to “read” memory. Keep clicking OK to exit the program

In the end, I was hoping for an answer. I have oneon the same problem … every time. Hopefully a professional will answer.

I had Acrobat 7.0 on my computer and it worked without issue. Now I have transferred it to my new computer and nothing will work as expected. I am getting this real error message and several others. The program said reinstall, and my partner and I reinstalled. Doesn’t work better.

There is still no solution to this problem. Error Instruction in memory “0x2d828acd” is referenced when accessing “0x00000008”.

Have you tried deleting the file and registry keys?

My IDCS2 can’t create printable PDFs?

XPSP2 / 1.5G Ram or CS2 4.04 / Acro Pro 7.I 08

Problem. Moving a 200-page batch PDF file with Latin Chinese fonts modified to include Sanskrit diacritics in specific Unicode ranges, be ita presets file or maybe a custom PDF, as soon as I try to print it I get:

* ********* There was an error in Adobe Acrobat 7.0. The application will be closed. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

An in-memory instruction references “0x2d828acd” with “0x00000008”. Failed to “read” memory.
Click OK to exit. *********
* There has never been such a problem with IDCS. Exactly the same system.

Have you tested uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat (and it doesn’t hurt to uninstall older versions of Linked Reader)? I just searched for this error message and found another thread where the error went away after reinstalling the disk (it did not have a full version).

Thanks for the advice. Maybe try this. This is a completely clean reinstall of all software that has tried very well to fix this problem (among other things). Did not work. I guess I’ll try to figure out how to get my 2GB dual core laptop to access the printer on the desktop (doesn’t recognize the correct port, so it needs to be connected to the network). If heunpublished, I have proof and alarm.

I opened the IDCS2 file on a configurable dual-core computer with 2GB of XP RAM on a laptop, another good IDCS2 installation, exported it as a PDF, then opened it in a separate installation of Acro Pro 7.08 and got exactly the same application. error and show failure.

There have been many days lately where Adobe’s love of options has been seriously questioned. He is one of them.

I’m sorry to hear that. Can you post the file for other market participants to try it out?

Have you tried to fetch a page or duplicate to see if it’s a size issue and not something else, and I’m hesitant to say it’s a serious issue with your custom idea font?

Good. I’ll see if I can find a website to host the file on the internet. Nothing was missing, but all of these fonts are well recognized and often from PDFs generated by IDCS but no longer installed. In the meantime, someone just posted the exact issue on the Acro Win forum. Sub May about the interview, I will give him the perfect baby.

This file (like most of my files, it started out as an IDCS file).

Interesting: If I save it as a specific idx and open it in the idcs creation process, save it as an ebook and print it, it prints out fine, there is no way to get a satisfying quality. It looks a little grainy, a bit like a 200dpi print.

Then when I open my idx file in idcs2, create a PDF and try to print it, it prints fine, but again with the same lousy resolution.

Thanks in advance for any suggestion. I panicked a little. This file contains hundreds of hours of work. I really need to be able to do this job. (This is a particularly important panic, since almost all of them were started with my files in idcs2, and the idcs were subsequently changed in idcs2, like this important fact.

Print resolution issue can be due to either compression / downsampling mods on export, or missing or altered references. Have you checked it againand places? Flattener doesn’t convert everything to raster, does it?

Good advice. Played around with the PDF printing methods and now it seems like a small size is printed from the file created like this:

2) Open the .inx file in IDCS2 4.04 and save it as an .indd file.

4) Print from Acrobat 7.08 using Acrobat print quality settings. There !

So we can conclude that the IDCS2 declaration (which comes from IDCS) was corrupted and flattened out its digital creases due to falling back to .inx and back, and this is why Acrobat doesn’t crash?

Slim! I was just trying to print another copy, and Acrobat crashed again, giving the same error messages as in the new message. Now I am really confused. The above happens on three different computers, often with a 7.08 installation.

What to do as soon as possible? (The same happens if you just want to print multiple pages.)

Has anyone posted this online in Acrobat? I have no ideas, but if you come up with anything else I will post the idea. Are you just trying to explain it now, or does it handle RIP just fine?

You can quickly and easily try the older reader again (although usually linked to Dov and the official channel) and see if the proof printout really suits you. I suggested uninstalling previous versions before this situation became an issue, but that doesn’t seem to be the case, and many Americans, myself included, have at least one person who is incredibly happy with Acrobat Pro 7.

Okay, so I put that aside and reformulated one last time in an almost identically structured and formatted file (another of 6 chapters in this 900-page book). It prints well.

Verdict: I think the “problematic” file is in some way dangerous, at least because it doesn’t create a printable PDF.

Question: Do you have an opinion on the simplest way to fix a fatal error? You drag and drop a specific story into your mik, again trying to correctly hack the problem story until the corruption is fixed? Do you want to remove all unused styles and pages from the main website before printing? All of the above? Something other ?
