Over the past week, some of our users have informed us that they have encountered an ANSYS error in their troubleshooter.
I am practicing this simulation again and the experts say the bug is gone. But most of the errors will still show up as shown below.
But when I think about this search error file, the “ProjectScratch” file cannot be found on my computer.

I’m not a CZM expert, but you’ve made a few mistakes.
Make sure you are using a 2D deformation systemand planes, that’s ok, but you haven’t set 2D type of geometry cell analysis in Workbench.
You cannot simply change this value to 2D. This must be done before attaching geometry to the cell model. Start a new model and do it.
You have a fractured limb indicating a contact peel that helps anchor the contact area, which is generally normal.
The problem is that you have selected faces of 2D solids that need to be connected. Usually you should have the edges selected. This was not in your model because the analysis type was 3D.
Another problem is that you did not choose the glue joint slot as the medium for flexible and rigid adhesives. You should probably use a linked contact.
I have repaired these machines, but your geometry is too large in resolution for students. The attached file contains 127 thousand nodes, and the license contains 32 thousand nodes. Just cut 3/4 of the length of the beam, but you will. You can also provide rigid parts with Rigid routines so that they only need to be connectedto with one edge. Replace the fixed mount with a remote offset.
