If you spot the bestec atx100-5 troubleshooter, the following guide might help you. Solution: Step 1: Make sure the board’s power and motherboard LEDs are flashing green and not solid or off. Step 2: Disconnect the motherboard power supply from the board when the power type is on.

LOL, Bestec luckily included a 10A part that put a maximum of 2A on the sticker! This thing can deliver more power than the 100 watts that old thing is rated for! I have another one with this other computer in the shop. Some capacitors need to be replaced. I’ll take a video of the inside as soon as I get there. What shocks me is the size of all those little heatsinks…maybeThat’s why people do reviews like this. Just plug in a triangular fan and go, maybe you can play Crysis with >
One of the reasons power supply manufacturers underestimate the specifications on the label may be that the number of amps that another Schottky (or MOSFET, if you will) provide is highly dependent on the rest of the components. . for example, the width of most traces, inductors, switching transistors, each bridge rectifier, transformer, topology, heatsinks, capacitors, fan, Schottky diodes, the closer on other rails, how the bus is loaded, etc. If you think about it, this PSU is probably , is limited to a maximum power of 100W, because Bestecs (not OPP) will explode if pulled much more than its even overall rating, if our part itself can do A 10 (well, or it depends on temperature) and maybe even more, accompanied by good cooling, equivalent to +12V * A 10 120W. The +12 V rail is, of course, not the only rail used in roofthis channel is not even normal to provide 120w while the rest of the equipment is not designed to provide any of them.
Without screaming too much, if 100W is the specific limit for this PSU, you will draw no more than 10A rails from +12V at that specification. Maybe more than 2A, but 10A is not in most cases. With all these rails installed, you can only haul a lot. Not to completely discredit the language you speak – PSUs, the good ones that rebuild their PSUs and rate their own PSUs at a rating that appears to be below a fair maximum.
BUT
One of the reasons PSUs seem low on the label specs is that the number of amps your Schottky (or MOSFET like most people) can put out is highly dependent on peace of mind. components like tracks, coil width, transistor swap, mbackbone rectifier, transformer, you see, topology, heatsinks, fan, capacitors, very different Schottky diodes of others on the rails in the frame, which rail is loaded, etc. If the customer thinks that this power supply is probably less than 100W max, since Bestecs (without OPP) explode much more than their full power, also when the part is pulled by itself, 10A is enough (although it also depends on the temperature for which it is intended) and maybe more with good cooling, +12V *10A equals 120W. The +12V rail is of course not the main rail used, and it’s possible that bestec won’t be able to provide even 120W if the rest of the electronics aren’t designed to supply it.
Without further ado, 100W might be the limit for this PSU, you won’t draw 10A from the +12V line of this Bestec. Maybe more compared to 2 with A, but hardly 10 A. You can’t pull that much with all the rails combined. Not to completely discredit what they are saying: a good PSU will have its PSUs too large and quantify its PSU with a constant andonly a lower score than the maximum reliability.
LOL so Bestec put a tested 10A part but only put a maximum of 2A on the sticker! Some of them can provide a lot more power than the old 100 watts that this thing is designed for! I have another one on another computer in terms of storage. Some capacitors need to be replaced. I’ll do an inside about video of it when I figure it out. What shocks me is that the actual size of these heatsinks is small…maybe that’s why they made the reviews so small. Just plug in the blowers, the delta fan and they can decide who will play Crysis.
