Sometimes your computer may give an error message stating the avi bittorrent codec. There can be many reasons for this error.

Need a detailed step-by-step guide to playing a great torrent avi file? I tried to watch at least 10 or more AVI cinemas and failed every time. I start with utorrent and download usually succeeds, but when I play with this company I get an error that our codecs are wrong or there is no video track in the music file. Let me just say that I have probably installed every possible multimedia gadget (Windows Media Player and Windows Media Classic Player, DivX Player and Codec, I also installed Xvid). I like to style my hair because I still don’t know what to do wrong. Do I need to convert avi data file to wmv? I also tried this VCL player, to no avail Ooh, one more thing to do, I installed and then uninstalled XP Codec Pack 2.0.7.1 since I determinedInstall CCCP Codec Pack. REMOVE HAIR AND LEGS (SERIOUSLY)

You really need to figure out what codec they usually use (remember AVI is just a good container) and make sure you install it CORRECTLY. Here is a list of codec IDs, I usually use AVIcodec myself.

Have you tried using VLC as a player? I think almost anything can play in the sun.

Download gspot. It should tell you which AVI files the codec needs.

All you have to do is find out Which codec is being used (remember that AVI is that container) and make sure you know exactly which one is CORRECTLY installed. Here is a list of additional codec IDs, I myself prefer using AVIcodec.

Download GSpot. It should tell each codec what AVI files need.
Also to make sure you are opening the .AVI file and not the .avi.torrent file, right?
