Hello friends. I installed wizd on my wl-500gP V2 but I can’t see the server on my Playstation 3 I can go to the router outside of my PC and see the skin and therefore the file listings but it’s beyond doubt that the PS3 is not finding the server . Anyone got this awful job? With firmware 2.6 and DivX support on PS3 it would be great if this worked so I can connect my Xbox1 to XBMC.

So I uninstalled Wizd, couldn’t always get it to work, and fixed ushare. The server shows up immediately for PS3, but I get “DLNA Error 501” when I try to do anything on it. Ideas?

Well I use Wizd which has my Linktheater and it works great.

All I did was change the document_root in wizd.conf (along with the alias)
Exporting my browser storage favorites to disk (recommended by Alias) allows me to surf the web, listen to radio broadcasts, and more.
If necessary, adapt the port (wizd.config) to suit your needs. (In this case Port 8000)
If you need a quick preview, just type http://routerip:yourreport

in your awesome browser.

Well, I use wizd with my favorite Buffalo Linktheater and it works great.

All I did was fine-tune the document_root in wizd.conf (with an alias)
When I export my bookmarks from my internet browser, I save them to disk (and refer to them by alias), I can surf the internet, listen to radio broadcasts, etc.
If necessary, adapt this special port (wizd.config) to suit your needs. (Best case port 8000)
If you want to take a quick look, just enter your phone number in http://routerip:yourreport

Oddly enough, I was able to surf the web from my PC, but it didn’t show up on my PS3 (not upnp/dlna compatible?). UShare immediately shows up on my PS3, but every time I try to access it, I get a 501 error…

I share I use but then you will probably need to enable your PS3 provider in the setup screen…any idea if you did that? :p

and no, ushare may not be the best… but that should be enough for me

I’ve enabled ushare, but you’ll probably need to convince the current config file to support your PS3… not sure if you’ve done that? :p

I was able to re-enable the PS3 (and Xbox360) part in the config file. When it appears on PS3, just when I access it, I notice that it gives me “Error 501”.

I wasn’t sure what else to use here since everything else should be USHARE_ but the config just says ENABLE_DLNA

I was looking for a server on your wl500 to allow PS3 to stream videos and videos from my shared storage and Mediatomb works great: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/mediatomb/mediatomb-static-0.11.0 – r2 -linux -uclibc-mips32el.tar.gz

Just unzip this to edit /tmp/harddisk, config.xml to enable PS3 backup (check documentation and mediatomb) Exercise ./mediatomb.sh. There will beThere is a GUI so you can select the folders you want Mediatomb to scan.
