History
PestPatrol, Inc. was Carlisle, Dr. David Stang and Robert Bales founded a software company from Pennsylvania, [2] , an early version of which PestPatrol developed and released in 2000. SaferSite, the company changed its name in 2003 to better reflect the direction of this company.
PestPatrol is an anti-malware product designed to protect your computer system from potential risks such as adware, spyware, and viruses. It performed automatic scanning of system hard drives, Windows registry for other key areas, and allowed manual scanning of selected targeted threats from a very long list of email addresses of known malware. [3] Among its special features were CookiePatrol, Purges, which spy on cornbread, and KeyPatrol, a keylogger that detects detected network environments.
