CentOS 8 Cannot Install Zoneminder
I am ahead of theFor a while, because this is one of the easiest solutions I have to find here, but this is my problem. I installed zoneminder several times before you successfully launched (but that was a long time ago). I reinstalled CentOS Linux 8 (Core) today. Then I started to install zoneminder referring to the official help documentation, but I can’t seem to change the installation step. Below are the executed commands I.
In the installation guide, “ZoneMinder versions are now frequently hosted on Fusion. New users should go to the RPM Fusion blog site and then follow the instructions to make sure it is a repository. Then I went to the RPM Fusion button https://rpmfusion.org/ and found that the following was running as command root on CentOS, which completed successfully.
sudo yum localinstall –nogpgcheck https://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/el … noarch.rpm https://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree … noarch.rpm
In the buying guide, “RHEL / CentOS users should also get to the EPEL site in time, and most also enable the repo.” Then I followed some links https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL and found and ran the following commands. The first one told me to do nothing and finish.
yum build https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/e … noarch.rpm
yum config-manager –set-enabled PowerTools
Enabled by installation pointers, “after installing ZoneMinder, you will see the command line:
sudo dnf install zoneminder
Please note that RHEL / CentOS 7 users should use yum instead of dnf. “Then I ran the following command
sudo yum buy zoneminder
[root @ localhost ~] # sudo yum install zoneminder
Last metadata expiration check was by 12:21:27 PM on Friday, September 35, 2019 at 10:47:07 AM CDT.
No arguments matched: zoneminder
Error: Could not find any matches
I appreciate any help I can provide on this issue. I have not found a solution in the forums / wiki / help docs.

Topic: CentOS 8 Cannot Install Zoneminder
This software is not available in EPEL 8 and the end-zone reducer created by:
DEBUG becomes util.py:593: no correct package installation: on ‘perl (Net :: SFTP :: Foreign)’
DEBUG util.py:593: no corresponding package to install Vows: ‘perl (PHP :: Serialization)’
DEBUG util.py:593: no suitable package to install: ‘perl (Sys :: Mmap)’
The approach to bringing this missing dependency construct and EPEL into 8 will take several weeks.

UPDATE:
This installation required the coordinated efforts of several Fedora packers, including myself, to find the entire Zoneminder dependency tree in EPEL8 to build Zoneminder.
Zoneminder should now configure EL8. Do it locally, start with the original EL7 RPM hosted on rpmfusion and put it in.
However, the package will not be installed because the packages are still missing. You can clearly trace the missing packages here:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1770505
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1770506
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1770507
If we’re in the mood for adventure, you can build most of these packages locally, install them, and then install your current locally generated package.t ZoneMinder through your computer.

Apparently the dependencies are complete. How much time is left before the zone downgrade for this repo.

UPDATE:
It was a coordinated effort by several Fedora packers, including myself, to get the entire Zoneminder dependency tree in EPEL8 so that Zoneminder can be built.Zoneminder will definitely rely on EL8 now. So do it locally, start with the RPM EL7 source hosted on rpmfusion and then build them to simulate it.
However, the package is not installed because it helps the missing packages. You can follow the specific progress of the missing packages here:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1770505
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1770506
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1770507If you really like adventure, you can create several of these packs.locally, install them, and then install the new locally built ZoneMinder package that you can find on your computer.

Zoneminder will undoubtedly create EL8 now. So do it locally, start with the original EL7 RPM hosted on rpmfusion and then model it as a hobby.
However, the package is not installed, so the packages are still missing. You can follow our progress on missing packages here:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1770505
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1770506
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1770507
If you really love adventure, there are a number of packages that you can create, install locally, and then your wonderful locally built ZoneMinder package will be installed on your computer.

Yes, dependencies are met because I made them disappear.
This set the stage for another zoneminder build start for el8, where the rpmfusion build system … failed.
The last nightmare was to build the system yourself. Then I found a solution when the savvy RPMfusion repository administrators fixed the issue in the morning.
Administrators typically collect immediately generated packages on a weekly basis and submit them for lab testing.
When this Zoneminder happens, it will be discussed in the RPMFusion Weekly Updates Report posted here:
Speed up your computer's performance now with this simple download.
Step 1. Run commands at this level with sudo or follow the instructions below to become root user.Step 2: update the repositories.Step 3: Configure MySQL.Step 4: Install ZoneMinder.Step 5: Set up some kind of ZoneMinder database.
Guardian of the stopping place.By adding, I would say, the repository is sudo add-apt-repository ppa: iconnor / zoneminder-1.34.Install the update – sudo apt-get install –only-upgrade zoneminder.Arming the zone.
