I am / var / log / openvpncomp-lzo runs from my root account. So I don’t know why permission was actually denied. Also, when I type modprobe for the last time, I get the following output.
WARNING: config file /etc/modprobe.conf is out of date, all config files are included in / etc / modprobe into.d /.FATAL: /lib/modules/2.6.18-128.2.1.el5.028stab064.7ent/modules.dep could not be loaded: no such file or directory
I wish I had noticed this earlier, because this has happened to me a lot.
You are using a VPS on OpenVZ. Therefore, kernel modules do not seem to work for sure. You will need your company to activate it for you.

As a result, most of these FUSEs will not work unless the vendor also allows it, and things like paging might not work at all.

The tun / tap component will not load because your kernel is not installed correctly. So while you probably have permission to use the device node, the device is not responding at all from the kernel side. Fix modprobe errors (just run the main depmod -a
as you can) and continue what happens next.
