With CentOS-6.4-i386-netinstall.iso. Set up a VMWare virtual machine, 1 CPU, 10 disks, GB CD-ROM with ISO. The installer starts, I skip the test, select the medium and select the language (English), Keybd type (us “), installation plan (local CD / DVD). Installation finishes with: Your CD players .. .Yadayada”. Nonsense, because I just started with this and have come this far. VMWare CD / DVD settings show Connected and Running with ISO file shared in VM with. You need a Netinstall disk, it may point to * net *, not CD / DVD. It only contains a load sufficient to loadFree downloads and network usage, but this is not a complete installation CD.

Either on the fly for image or package installations.
But if you don’t have a really fast internet connection (or a repository based mostly on your local network), why bother?
Just download the ISO image, mount it in your virtual machine, fix and.

If you are using http://mirror.sanctuaryhost.com/centos/6.4/os/ i386 / images /, you are in a directory too low in the installation tree for a technician to try to install install.img from http. : / /mirror.sanctuaryhost.com/centos/6.4/os/i386/images/images/

This is pretty new, but there are almost no problems with Virtualbox.
I tried to install Centos 8 in general on the last nsometimes, but the CD check always fails.
I downloaded from 15 different showcases and tried the current stream and DVD.
Then I tried to install additional Centos 7 and 6 with minimalistic live DVD from at least 10 different mirrors and the installation also failed.
I’ve tried so many different Virtualbox tools that got reinstalled over and over and were always the same.
I ended up trying to resolve this issue with flying colors and would appreciate some help.

Also note. i If you choose to install without verification, installation on sites in the zone will always fail. to set the UI, including setting all the different settings like timezone, and then change one for the root setting. but usually fails halfway when loading kernel from kernel
