- Register at service benefits with your login details.
- Click on the “Select software version” prompt in the upper right corner and select a version.
- Click the Downloads and Packages tab.
- Click the link for the service pack.
- Click the Resume Service Pack Download tab.
- Select the packages to download.
- Click the manager to launch the download button and follow the instructions to obtain the update package.

If you are installing the latest Service Pack in CommCell Settings, install the Service Pack in the following order:
- CommServe Computer
- Media personnel
- Client computer
Tip. Use the CommCell Console to select the CommServe with MediaAgents and Clients when installing the Service Plan. The CommCell Console installs the Major Service Pack first on the CommServe and then on the MediaAgents and Clients.

For an optional package that you install on each computer with a File System Agent or MediaAgent, each person needs 500 MB of additional hard disk space. Be aware that the required file space depends on the package, not to mention the version of the service pack generated on the computer.
- Installing the Service Pack on the CommServe will stop services but close the CommCell Console. Purchase the service pack if you are not followingthose are no tasks in the CommCell environment. You can wait for some work to finish, you can get rid of it or get rid of it.
- When the CommServe is in a Clustered Ecosystem, consider the following requirements:
- The service pack must be installed on the active node of this cluster. When installed on a Fit Node, the installation of the program provides an opportunity to update passive nodes.
- The receive service must be installed on physical nodes. Installation on virtual hosts is not supported.
- To ensure that this type of service pack is automatically installed on indirect sites, ensure that the deployment media is on a network that is accessible to all sites in the group. For reliable type and performance on CommCell Natural World, we recommend that the CommServe, its MediaAgents, and its clients run at the same Service Pack level.
You can choose less than that to upgrade all MediaAgents and clients. However, you will not benefit from software enhancements and new features.

On the CommCell Console ribbon, Tools tab, click Add / Remove Programs> Install Service Packs and Patches. In this Service Pack and Hotfix Installation Options discussion window, expand Client Computers and select all clients on which you want to install the current hotfix. Click on OK.
In the Version Information area, you can view the version of the feature as additional updates installed for that person (if any).In the Upgrade Status area, you can view the status of the client, as well as the status of any packages that were installed after the client.
