Ok guys, here’s a problem for you guys … I’m working on getting you an old Presario 5461 for my dad’s friend. It burned 10GB of rough rides and I swapped it out for a 40GB Samsung. No setup issue.

However, I noticed a problem and currently the problem lies in another issue. Installing Windows is undoubtedly enough to generate errors and Windows version, and apparently the system itself is wrong about the 32GB hard drive size.

I just updatedFork BIOS to a newer version capable of reading up to 64GB of hard drive. This is annoying and I am currently configuring the LBA through the BIOS.

1. I have a Presario 5461 with a damaged original 10GB Quantum Hardmove.
   I replaced it with another 40GB Western Digital drive, but now it no longer works
   Boot the computer from the CD, even if the boot sequence in BIOS is set to
   . installedDisk => CD-ROM => Hard disk. In fact, I don’t see a single screen in all BIOSes, which
   or identifies one of the IDE devices.

   I can successfully boot Linux from CD using Knoppix if OEM is difficult
   The drive is on the system, but I cannot boot from the Win98SE installation disc
   with this particular new drive in the system.

   

   I don’t need help on the compaq website which supports hard drive replacement.

   

   I’ve heard that most Compaq have weird BIOS implementations related to some
   Hard disk machines. am i running there? If you like the experience
   use the device if your current original disk will fail.

   1/2 “Quantum Fireball HD with Maxtor Mod # 90430D3 3 1/4” HD and I save
   Best controller error when starting with just one. BIOS not available
   or F1 F10 and therefore cannot change the startup sequence. I don’t think so,

4. Unfortunately I can check if the CS jumper is correct. I need an old Compaq 4784 with
   Quantum Bigfoot CY. Fujitsu, the drive I “found” several times is configured the same way
   and clearly works well. Visit the Maxtor website to find out where Your riders are located,
   Technology and more. (Quantum was acquired by Maxtor, which your organization may be aware of)

6. In Grow Compaqs, the BIOS user interface was on the hard drive (called
   Setup) or may well be run from a floppy disk. BIOS / CMOS resources were not saved or saved
   on your hard drive. If the UI is the device’s hard drive, F10
