Cisco UCM Enterprise Directory Issue: Host Not Found
When configured with BE cucm 8.5. 1 for a client, I ran into an issue where selecting the company directory option type on IP smartphones showed a “Host Not Found” error. After reading a lot of communities and documentation, among the stacks of Cisco manuals, I came across a document that seems to have a solution to the problem. There were a few posts on various IT forums that seemed to suggest that removing the DNS dependency might fix the issues, so I tried both and was able to fix the problem! I’m not sure which of the two suggestions worked, but I’d suggest doing both step by step, though since the distribution was documented by Cisco itself, I’d put my own. money for their own decision. p>
