I was unable to start the Dell 4700 Volume Desktop. Sometimes it works, often it doesn’t. On two other occasions where this is not the case, I checked the diagnostic lights (A, B, C, D) on the rear, but I was unable to find the model shown in the manual.
My question is, what problem do most of these two models point to?
There used to be such companies: A, C, D = green, B = yellow. They had a different time
: A, D = green, B, C = yellow.
Define the conflict, significantlyby reducing the size or removing the card (not the video card) or restarting the computer.
If the problem persists, reinstall the removed card, remove the other card and start. Reboot your computer.
Repeat this process for each card. If your computer starts normally, troubleshoot the last removed gift card.
Also check the potential key LED color and whether it is blinking or not.

I am having problems starting my Dell Dimension 4700 desktop as described above. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. On two special occasions where this is not the case, I have checked the diagnostic LEDs (A, B, C, D) on the rear motherboard, but I cannot find the model they are supposed to display in the manual.
They were: A, C, D = green, B = yellow.
In contrast, they were: A, D = green, B, C = yellow.
Make sure the hard drive, drive, CD, and DVD cables are securely connected to the system board е.
If an error message appears on the screen indicating a problem with a real device (such as a hard drive), check the device to make sure it is working properly.

The LED does not indicate a memory problem. This link provides more information on diagnosing devices on the back of your computer:
The beep code sequence usually also indicates a memory problem. Check this link:

Possible helpers:
1. The RAM chips may not be installed correctly. If the chips are also inserted, the retaining clips are locked in place, the corresponding RAM chips are not fully seated. They are also correctly installed. RAM, it must be firmly and evenly inserted into the slot before the retaining clips are insertedWill open completely. Then the retaining clamps should simply snap into place.
2. Defective RAM chip (s). If you have more than one good RAM chip in your computer, remove the case and see if the underlying error code changes or the process starts now.
3. Broken motherboard. If you have more than one memory cell, try installing a RAM chip in every other slot to see if you can determine which slot is faulty.
