In some cases, your computer may display an error code indicating a “dell nvlddmkm” error. There can be several reasons for this error to appear. This VIDEO-TDR-FAILURE (nvlddmkm. Sys) handling has happened in recent weeks on Windows 7 with Windows 8, no matter what the NVIDIA graphics card has to do with it. Causes can be driver conflicts, incorrect call times or voltage, overheating, corrupted drivers, or a faulty graphics card.
If the video card has a damaged component, your card will heat up and will not allow it to run at higher clock speeds. This behavior results in a BSoD error followed by the message “error code nvlddmkm. sys. The NVIDIA graphics driver may take some time to respond to Windows OS.
Hi everyone, I bought a new Dell M15 with a 2060 RTX in mind. PC comes with .49 driver like nvidia driver 417. When I try this it updates to 419 version .35 from NVIDIA website, PC starts to randomly hang with blue screen or error regarding nvlddmkm.sys and VIDEO TDR FAILURE . I would really like to know if I have to wait for Dell to update it.
You do not have permission to connect to “http://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-fj/000143121/error-message-video-tdr-failure-on-xps-9550-and-precision-5510” on this server.
I wonder if anyone else is having BSOD issues on 7590 that seem to be related to Nvidia drivers?
I’ve gotten three different BSOD errors since the IT day.
– Driver_Power_State_Failure
– Video_TDR_Failure
– Page_In_Nonpaged_Area (nvlddmkm.sys)
So far I’ve tried
– completely safely remove the Nvidia drivers and reinstall the latest drivers from Dell, Device Windows Manager or Dell Update.
– SFC returns no errors< br>– Check Disk returns simple errors< br>– BIOS Diagnostics does not return any errors
– Memtest does not return any errors
This looks likethe most common issue with Windows 10, remember while I can’t find that many 7590 user posts, I’m wondering what’s available out there that I haven’t tried yet?
I also created a Dell support ticket while on the road, so it’s hard to submit now.

- Windows 10 19043.1415 Dell version
- OEM old computer: 3 months
At this important moment, here are all the steps I tried to follow:
-
Last monitoring of Hwinfo64 system – no overheating problems.
-
Using Dell’s comprehensive hardware test suite to test all hardware.
-
Reformat Windows and Install it at least five times to meet Dell support requests. I opted out of the Dell Windows and Windows OEM installation media that I downloaded directly from the Microsoft website.
-
Uses DDU to both uninstall nvidia Intel graphics drivers and reinstall them from scratch. I have done this more than 10 times already.

Just reinstalled with Nvidia and drivers, Intel ie. H Reformatted with any clean Windows 10 downloaded from Microsoft instead of Dell’s own recovery image, and mostly OEM drivers instead of Dell.

Replaced a certain SSD with one I bought myself.

How do I fix page fault in nonpaged area Nvlddmkm?
The file nvlddmkm. There are several things you need to do to fix this problem. First, try a hard uninstall by running DDU in Safe Mode, then reinstall the driver (more info). Or get the most recent version of most drivers. Or try one of the three latest drivers released by NVIDIA.
Each Dell support rep came in to replace the motherboard/GPU and install a different, newer SSD (better silicon qualifies, but no more than 48 hours of BSOD reproducible). Memtest86

To further eliminate memory, I replaced the operive memory with a completely different set of compatible memory, the BSOD did not disappear.
Edit: I should note that it doesn’t do nearly all overclocks, just the defaults.
I’m pretty self-reliant and good at solving problems like this, but I don’t know who to contact at the moment. All clean installs and actual testing of Windows using only OEM or Dell drivers still gives me hardware information, but it also seems very unexpected that I got another problematic mobile/GPU.
Hi, I’ve been experiencing BSODs in an unusual way, about once every 24-48 hours over the past month.
