It looks like some readers have come across a familiar error message in DirectX 10 flight simulator. There are many factors that can cause this problem. We’ll cover them below.

The performance of Microsoft Simulator X in DirectX 10 preview is the same as in DirectX 9 with my Geforce graphics card.

This is a common model for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. We actually tested the same behavior with a 3rd Anniversary Holiday DirectX 10 graphics card on Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

FSX And 10
To be honest, I’m new to FSX, and digging deeper and deeper, I see a test offer for FSX with DX10. On the contrary, it seems that DX10 with FSX is more about performance than aesthetics, so I’m very curious …
Is it really worth using the DX10 with FSX? -
When working with FSX and DX10, keep in mind that DX10 is just a preview.I haven’t used it myself, but a lot of people seem to have material, especially if you’re using what I think is called “Steve’s DX10 Fixer”.

Some of the authors of paid planes suggest that you select it for several models that I have bought.
Gigabyte GA-X99 Gaming G1, i7-5960X, Noctua NH-D14, Crucial Ballistix Elite 64GB, Nvidia GTX Titan X, Creative ZxR, Ableconn PEXM2-130, WD Black SN750 250GB and 2TB NVMe / Gold 10TB hard drive, Sony BDU-X10S BD-ROM, 1200W PC power supply and cooling, Cosmos Noctua c700m, 140mm iPPC x6, Logitech M570 / K800, WinX64 7 Ultimate / 10 Pro

As Jorgen said, FSX DX10 mode is a test. I was named that because they wanted the game to work on DX10, but they were required to release it before all DX10 features could be configured and properly tested. Steve’s DX10 fixer fixes a lot of problems and makes DX10 more useful for Far fsx, but it’s not perfect and probably won’t be.
For my machine, the DX9 has a very consistent performance over the DX10. Others see the opposite. If you’re really interested in using the new DirectX releases, check out Prepar3d as it’s written to work with DX11.
PC specifications: MSI GE60 (laptop, useful school) / designed for Intel I7-4710HQ @ 2.5GHz / 8GB RAM / 1TB HDD / 128GB SSD / nVidia GTX 850M / CH Eclipse Yoke / CH Pro Pedals / TrackIR Landscape I am using: FTX orbx Global, Vector, OpenLC NA, Trees HD, FreemeshX, REX Texture Direct with SC.

Thanks for each of our answers. I think I’m sticking with DX9 for now because I have a problem, but it’s also a very interesting setup. Maybe at some point I will find it necessary to upgrade to dx10 for the better.
Prepar3d is seriously overpriced due to my wallet, and special entertainment use violates the license agreement. -

Personally, I have not seen a simple problem with DX10 mode with Steve’s lock. What problems are you facing?
Moving on to traditionAlthough DX10 does offset the CPU-to-GPU work a bit, I mostly noticed a slight improvement in performance over DX9. What’s really worth in me is Cockpit Shadows and, along with Steve’s new addition, Cloud Shadows, which add so much to our own immersion that I wouldn’t even think about going back to DX9. In terms of practicality, this is a rock for people ever since I upgraded from DX9.

As mentioned above, it works great if you are using Steve’s DXFixer DirectX. It doesn’t help with FPS at the best of times, but it also adds dental implants that are only used graphically in DX10.
FSX Plus DirectX I 10
To be honest, I’m new to FSX and as I keep digging I see a lot of resources for FSX with DX10. DX10 with FSX seems to be more for work than graphics development, so I’m very curious …

One thing to remember about FSX and DX10 is that DX10 is just a taste.I haven’t used it myself, but a lot of people seem to be happy with the program, especially if they use what I think is called “Steve’s DX10 Fixer”.

Thanks for answers. I think I’ll stick with dx9 for now as I have no problem, but this is also a completely new setup. Maybe at some point I will find it necessary to change dx10.
Prepar3d is too expensive for my wallet and my personal fun starts with their EULA.

As for the original poster, while DX10 compensates for some of the work from CPU to GPU, I just noticed that you just have a slight performance boost over DX9. What’s really worth it to me is the shade of the cockpit as a whole and, with Steve’s upcoming addition, the cloud shade that adds so much to the immersion that I didn’t even think of resorting to DX9 often. In terms of stability, it has definitely been a rock for me since the transition from DX9.

As mentioned above, DirectX works great when a person is using Steve’s DXFixer. This not only helps with FPS but also up toAdds graphics enhancements that are only used in DX10.Related topics
