Updates will certainly be available from Windows via Update Center. There is no separate package for these DirectX variants.

What is the use of DirectX in Windows?
DirectX has many uses in Windows. It allows developers to standardize certain video displays and music files, making them easier to develop and run on different PCs (it’s also used on gaming systems like the Xbox).
DirectX 11 is included in Windows 8, Windows RT, and Windows Server 2012. There are only a few independentNew updates for the DirectX 11.1 package. You can only install this version of DirectX on Windows Update on Windows 8, Windows RT, and Windows Server 2012.

DirectX 11.2 was last included in Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, but in Windows Server R2 2012. There is not as much of it as in the DirectX datepack for 11.2. You can only install this version of Windows DirectX through Update on Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, and later versions of Windows Server R2 2012.
If you need the latest version of DirectX, the easiest way to update isDirectX on Windows – Download it and use the “DirectX End User Runtime Web Installer” from microsoft.com, which provides updates to 9.0c and earlier. DirectX is the main Windows technology that powers high-speed multimedia and games.
Note. To continue updating DirectX, you must update your working system.

DirectX 11.0 is available on Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2. There is no separate update package for this version. You can update your DirectX hosting using the service pack and updates listed below.

DirectX 11.1 is available for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 sp1 RS SP1, which are affected by the platform update for Windows 7 and therefore Windows Server 2008 (KB2670838).
Is there a multiplayer patch for DirectX 7.0?
Install this location only if you are using DirectX 7.0 (or higher) and after installing 1.1.4315 Garden. The patch will add multiplayer support once or twice. Download and install the appropriate location to fix various bugs in the regular add-on.

You cannot (effectively) uninstall DirectX. But it should definitely be fixed with the DirectX Redist installation package (June 2010) if there are undoubtedly corrupted files. This will overwrite all DX files (except DX12).
DirectX 11.0 is available for Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server with SP2 installed, KB971512.
