It looks like some of our readers have encountered an error message while using a trial version of DirectX. There are a number of factors causing this problem. We will discuss this below.

This is the easiest way to assess your DirectX 9.0c needs. Some of the checks can be done manually according to your preference.

- Click the DX menu item Show Info.
- View DX Info – Runs post tests on your computer.
- Finds a Windows registry key point.Local Computer HKey SOFTWARE Microsoft DirectX, Version = 4.09.00.0904… If the version value is still found, then DirectX 9.0c is installed.

- Consider the initialization of your audio devices, recognizingsupported by DirectX. The result “Initialized = False” means that all initializations failed. Or, the device may not even have a DirectX driver, which has become the norm for some devices (for example, a switched card with a speaker cable box).

All modern Windows operating systems use DirectX by default, so you probably never need to install DirectX manually.
However, Microsoft is known to release updated copies and installing the latest updates may be the solution to the DirectX issue you are experiencing -For example, dsetup.dll errors – or increasing the number of actions may lead to your problem. games and graphics programs.

How To Download And Install Positive DirectX

Visit the directxdownload page on the Microsoft website.

Select your preferred language from the drop-down list, then select Download to save the generated file to your computer.

Open dxwebsetup.exe, run and complete the DirectX installation by following the basic instructions from the Microsoft website or installer. Installation takes less than a minute
Read some of the setup steps. You may be asked where you want to install something else, such as Bing Bar. Uncheck anything that doesn’t interest you to avoid installation.

Windows DirectX Versions
Not all versions of Windows support all versions of DirectX. Learn more about how each version of DirectX in the Windows family works here.
DirectX is indeed included in Windows 10 and is generally supported on that version of Windows. Updates for files related to DirectX 12 are more efficiently available through Windows Update . There is no separate version of DirectX 12.
DirectX 11.4 and 11.3 are only supported on ten windows. As with DirectX 12.0, updates are usually only delivered through Windows Update.
DirectX 11.2 is only supported on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (8.1+). All updates 11 files related to directx.2 are available in Windows. Upgrade on these Windows versions. For DirectX 11.2, separate downloads are not available.
DirectX 11.1 is supported on Windows 10 and only on Windows 8. Windows (SP1) 7 will also be added, but only after installing Platform Update for Windows 7 .
DirectX 11.0 must be supported by Windows 10, 8, and henceflax, Windows 7. Windows support is available for Windows Vista, but only after installing a major platform update for Windows Vista .
DirectX 10 is undoubtedly supported by Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
DirectX 9 is supported on Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and XP. Now, if you have a program that calls a DirectX 9 file on Windows 10, on the other hand, installing Windows 8, the downloadable version (map above) is the way to fix the problem – it will be your DirectX 10, not a “downgrade”. / 11/12 sit down! It is also the latest DirectX model compatible with Windows XP.
How To Find The Current DirectX Version Number
You can use the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to check which version of DirectX is installed on your preferred computer.

DirectX is a “software API” that has little to do with “gaming experience”. And on Win 7, 8 and 8.1, Microsoft Directx 11 is best suited for working with games …. Most PC video games currently require at least Windows 7. Windows 7-10 comes with a dedicated Direct X that cannot be installed or uninstalled.
To use the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to check which generic version of DirectX is installed on your computer, click the Start button, type dxdiag in the user search box, and then press Enter. In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, select System Eye, and then check the DirectX version number in the System Information section below.
DirectX 12 Ultimate is built into Windows 11. You can always use Windows Update to download and install the latest DirectX 12 Ultimate. To do this, just click “Start” -> “Settings” -> “Windows Update” -> “Check for Updates”.
