If you type frequentlyIf you are writing long lines of text containing only uppercase letters, you will probably like Caps Lock. For the rest of us, the CAPS LOCK factor is more of a nuisance than a recommendation. Fortunately, there is a way to get rid of this key, and if you accidentally distribute it in the newspaper or on TV, it won’t do anything.

As for the Caps Lock key that works, usually all you have to do is make a small change to the Windows Registry. To do this, right click on my link below and select the Save because link (or a similar command depending on your wonderful web browser) to download the disable_caps_lock.reg file to your computerep:
When the Save As screen appears, remember to replace this text file with All Files:
Now use Explorer to open the Downloads folder and double-click the file you just downloaded. It is listed as disable_caps_lock.reg or just disable_caps_lock, it depends on your file explorer settings. If you double click on it, you will probably see a new message similar to the following:
This violence is expected and valid: first of all, you should not open random files downloaded from the Internet, because if someone tricked someone into downloading a malicious file, it could really damage your computer.
Fortunately, PC registry files are actually text files that the public can view before Windows allows these companies to use them. To be safe, first click Cancel, then right-click the disable_caps_lock.reg file, choose Open With from the menu, then select Notepad because the app comes with it (you still allowthose use this app to open without tagging. reg files, since you do NOT always want to open them with Notepad, which you only want to do this once with.)
Now that you get the same attention, click Run and you should preferably see the following text in the window: notepad
Windows Registry Editor 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Keyboard Layout]Card Scancode = Hexadecimal: 00.000,00,00,0,00,00,00,020,00,00,00,00,3a, 00.00,00,00,00
As you can see, this file actually changes the entry named Scancode Map less than the keyboard layout, which is what we expected. (If you see almost all of the other entries in the script and are trying not to understand what they mean, first ask someone who knows more about the registry to continue.) By the way, if someone is unable to download a registry file with a specific top link Since your security prevents this from loading from web interfaces, you can use Notepad, let alone the text above, to create just about any file yourself.
After checking the file detailsf disable_caps_lock.reg using Notepad and validate the contents, double-click Notepad and double-click the disable_caps_lock.reg document. This time, run to continue going to market and you should see another prompt, this time from User Account Control, asking you to allow the Registry Editor to expand your computer. Click yes to make it easier.
(If you don’t see it quickly, but Notepad opens the registry editor instead, this tool probably means you installed the file as a text file. Return to the top of this article
