It has been a long time since I wrote about the important role that affects our support, so I think I had better deal with it.
In a previous make, I wrote how to back up all of your files. This time, I would like to tell you how to back up some of the files that you think you have recently edited.

Let’s say you want to make a full backup of a group of clips at the beginning of the week, and then back up only those files that have unfortunately changed We removed the remaining days of the week. You can do this by choosing differential or incremental backups.

There are also various types of temporary treatments. The most common normal values are Ratio, Difference, Increment, and Daily.
- A regular backup is created for each file and a definition (also called a switch) for the file to mark it as a backup.
Think of the switch as a light switch, the switch is definitely in the off position when creating the file. When the archive is saved, the indicator lights up (in our case, the file). When your site edits and saves the file, my switch will be reset to the remote position, just like when you leave a room and turn the lights off and on again. When you play a file or group of files, they are duplicated elsewhere, but the setting (switch) is not changed at this time. - When backing up, only files that have been added or modified are backed up Are since the last step-by-step backup and the switch is turned on. To do this, find the switches that experts say are off.
- Differential backup copies only those directories that have been added or modified since the last backup, but leaves it disabled.
- Daily backup only ensures that files are created or modified on a daily basis where they are. Additional backups are discussed in more detail later.
First of all, make sure you have already performed a full backup, as we saw in the previous article in the “Backing up with your data” section.
Open the appropriate backup program by clicking the Start button and then All Programs.
You should now select the “Accessories” folder as the “System Tools” folder, and then “Backup” in that folder.
When entering a new window, make sure the “Always run in guru mode” checkbox is unchecked. Select “Next” to continue.
Under “Backup / Restore” and “What do owners want to do?” “Select the ‘Back up files and settings’ tab, then ‘Next’.
In the next window, you will be presented with several options. Make sure “Let me do what I want to cancel” is selected, then select “Next” on the marketplace to continue.
Here we can choose which files and / or folders should be copied.
First, click all the fields next to “My Documents”.
Now click on the “+” (plus) symbol next to “My Computer” to bring it up, click on the “+” next to “Local to use the C: drive” and again next to “Documents and Settings” (for checking these folders may require a left / right scrollbar).
Now take a look at your user (ideally it could be multiple names, or more importantly). Click on the “+” as well as on it.
Now you want to check the boxes next to Favorites and Desktop.

How do I set up incremental backup?
To create an incremental backup or retrieve data from a set of incremental backups, a person needs the entire set of backups. When owners archive incremental backups, the entire backup must be archived. You must register all generated files on the main server and then register all segments.
After choosing “Next” you should be in a working window with the heading “Destination and name of the backup type”. Here you can choose where to save users.
You have many security options depending on your computer and your network. If customers have a thumb (also called a thumb drive or flash drive), the customer can back it up, BUT I don’t recommend doing this if a good backup is going to be permanent storage. In particular, if you have an external hard drive or a networked computer, you can make a backup. If you have a DVD-CD or DVD-RW writer, you can format and use CD-RW with DVD-RW, I’ll leave that to you.
In any case, click the appropriate Browse button and click Cancel when prompted to place it on the floppy disk.
You will be taken to the Save As / Save To page, select a destination (CD-RW, Zip al) and so on. Be sure to change the backup name (found at the end of this special page) to IncrementalBackup so thatYou would often know her type. Finally, click “Save” on the corresponding button.
You will be returned to the duplicated window where you previously clicked Next to continue.
Select all the “Advanced” buttons on this page and you will be taken to the “Backup Type” window.
Be sure to use different media (external drive, tape, or zip) for each backup. If you want your site to do full backups on Monday and incremental backups on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, I think your organization needs to use 4 different disks or tapes, one for each backup. You can clone to the same drive if you like, I just don’t recommend doing that.
From the new drop-down menu, select Incremental and click Next.
After that, you will be redirected to a confirmation window. I highly recommend that you select “Verify Backup” and then “Next” to continue.

You should now click the Define Program button in this window. This actually opens a new window. In the “Schedule a task” section, select as usual, for our example select “weekly”. You
Then you may need to select “Start Time”. I suggest doing this when you are not working normally. Therefore, choose a suitable time slot, for example 23:00. To prepare it, select the numbers and then place them on the up or down arrows, respectively. The same thing happens with the person with the choice “AM / PM”.
