Lately, some users have encountered an error due to a configuration error on the server. This problem can arise for several reasons. Let’s take a look below.
- 2 minutes to read.
This article will help you troubleshoot the server (not working) error that occurs after configuring the serverWorkgroup server and domain controller by using Server Manager.
What does system.servicemodel.faultexception mean?
System.ServiceModel.FaultException: The server was unable to process the request due to another internal error.
Applies to: Server Window 2016, Server Window 2019
Original Knowledge Base Number: 2738697
Symptoms
Consider a reading script. You configure a Windows Server 2012-based server as a domain controller for each workgroup by using Server Manager. Then click the appropriate button on the deployment configuration page. In this step-by-step script, you receive the following error message:
An error occurred while accessing the contoso domain.
The server will not work.
Reason
This issue occurs because NTLM certification is disabled on both the domain and domain controllers.
Resolution
To correct this factor, connect the server to the domain and also configure the server as a URL controller. After the computer is joined to the domain, the Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) wizard in Server Manager uses Kerberos authentication instead of NTLM certification to locate the AD DS forest.
Additional Information
What does error in web.config mean?
The web.config looks like this: Error: The server was unable to complete the request due to an internal superficial error.

You have LDAP, RPC, and DNS connectivity, and you can easily communicate with any of your existing domain controllers for almost any other operation.
java.lang.RuntimeException: An error occurred while retrieving data from the presentation server. Failed to start OBI for Presentation Service.
The last time I installed OBIEE 12c on Windows Server was the following year. All is well at first, but the publisher in I included the publisher BI superuser security model and the security model. Neither Weblogic user nor superuser can view it. The above error has been fixed. What should I do so that they can properly log in from the user or via weblogic. Please suggest.
Thank you

Why did you switch to BIP security instead of FMW model?

Okay, you have a completely different problem that was solved with an unfortunately completely wrong approach:
You have to understand how certainty actually works!
NOTE Security: there is a jungle

Dear Sir,
I have not blocked Weblogic and other administrative users. I just changed the security environment of the obiee editor

Above, I told you that you cannot browse through logins. So youYOU CAN check how to get rid of this:

Workaround = “just change” the BI Publisher security option (not “Obiee Publisher” – these are really different products together) included in the built-in and correct Fusion middleware model I use Usually I mentioned my very first type of reply message.
In short – when you do, change it.
Why is director not showing the licensing status due to a configuration error?
The data source is not responding due to a large configuration error. See Director Server Event Records for more information. “Invalid configuration. Additional information: “Unable to set up secure procedure for SSL / TLS with official license hosting server address: 8083.” “Configuration invalid.
And a general consideration: before you start turning knobs and playing in important areas like defense, try to understand what needs to be understood first.
The art of closing was practiced in this discussion.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Error retrieving data file from Presentation Server. Unable to connect to OBI that supports presentation service.
I have installed the latest OBIEE on Windows Server 2012 12c. It’s okay at first, but Publisher in I included the superuser and security model, the BI Publisher Security Model. So there, or even a Weblogic user, none of the They cannot be logged in as superuser. Asks for the above error. What should I do to connect from user or from Weblogic Smart. Please suggest.

Why did you switch to Wellness GDP instead of FMW model?
Why do I get error message unauthorized logon failed?
I updated every VS2012 project to 2013 and it greatly improved the Project property for Windows Authentication with Enabled to Disabled and also got this error. One simple change solved one person’s problem. Go to the solution and click “Apartments” to change this. I just had this problem.
Because many of us have not found an opportunity to attract new users. This is why we moved from business intelligence to publisher security. I thought that the problem was in the right to receive the amount. And as you can see in the pictures, there are no options like Oracle Fusion Middleware.
So you have a completely different problem that was trying to solve automatically with – sorry – definitely the wrong approach:
Since I can barely login with credentials, I’m stuck in the middle. Either I need to undo the changes I made, or I need to fix the problem. Since I don’t have an Obiee security expert, you can get me out of this frustrating situation.
Have you also blocked Weblogic users or other admins? ! So you’re basically saying you’ve destroyed the security of your environment?
I have not blocked weblogic and many admins. I just changed your current security environment for subeditors, not just.
2880461 wrote: Since I am unable to connect to connections, I am stuck in the middle of the path.
You said that above, and you can never connect to just about any connection. This way you CAN login, which means you can fix it:
2880461 wrote: I usually didn't change the security environment of the author of Obiee articles anymore.
The workaround implies that “only” the publisher’s business intelligence security model (not “Obiee Publisher” – they are different channels grouped together) is replaced by the correctly mentioned Fusion Middleware model that I talk about in my very first answer. …
In short, if you change it, change it again.
And some general tips: before you start customizing the various buttons and messing around with theIn critical areas such as security, first try to finally understand what’s going on.
