This information applies to eMachines hard drive and computer recovery for the following Windows versions: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Multiple, and Windows 8.
A floppy disk is also called a recovery disk, recovery disk, bootable CD, or recovery disk.
eMachines Inc. was not purchasedUntil 2004, and Gateway Computers will continue to acquire Acer in 2007.
- If you have an IT gateway, follow the instructions on the gateway recovery disk.
- If you are confronted with an Acer computer, follow the instructions on the Acer recovery disc.

Load EMachines Recovery Disc
If your computer’s recovery partition is damaged or damaged, you need to download Easy Recovery Essentials, i.e. H. eMachines, compatible with computers running Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8.

Create A Recovery Disc In Windows XP
If you do not have the recovery software provided by eMachines, please download our eMachines recovery and recovery hard drive.
You can create a Windows XP recovery disc on eMachine Personal if you have installed software that allows eMachines to create tfull-time carrier.
The following steps may vary slightly depending on your computer model:
- Run on Windows XP
- Search for eMachines Recovery Management (by choosing Start> All Programs).
- Click Create Factory Defaults.
- Insert basic CDs or DVDs into the optical drive of your personal computer and click “Start” to start.
- Follow the instructions for use to complete the process.
Create A Recovery Drive In Windows Vista
If you do not have eMachines recovery software, please download our eMachines recovery and recovery disc.
To create a Windows Vista recovery CD or DVD for an eMachines user, you must be able to upgrade to Windows Vista to run the recovery management software:
- Start your system
- Click Start.
- Come on, you can eMachines> Manage eMachines Recovery
- Click Create Factory Defaults.
- Depending on the type of video (CD or DVD) you want to use,the program will tell you almost all the CDs or DVDs you need for the creation process.
- Click Start.
- When prompted, remove CD or DVD # 1, insert the second of all CDs or DVDs, then click OK.
- Remove the latest CD or DVD and close the type recovery management software.
- The process ends immediately.
Create A Recovery Drive In Windows 7
If the public doesn’t have recovery software, just download the supplied eMachines, download our recovery and recovery disc to find eMachines.
To create a Windows 7-based recovery disc, use the eMachines recovery management software on your computer:
- Click Start.
- Look at all programs.
- Find folder
- Launch eMachines for one of our eMachines recovery management applications.
- Click “Restore Factory Settings”.
- Insert our first blank CD or DVD and your primary optical drive
- Click Start.
- Wait for the process to finish
- When prompted by the program, insert many more CDs or DVDs until the process is complete and click OK to load CD or DVD.
