Hope this guide will help you if you encounter error 800c0005 msxml3.dll.
I have a classic ASP page that I am trying to debug in IIS on Windows 7 for you. The search page runs on a different computer, which accelerates Windows Server 2003 on a different network. Now successfully open the corresponding URL in your browser.
msxml3.Error DLL '80072efd'Failed to establish a connection to the current server
The programming in question looks like this (the very last line does not work):
set xmlHTTP = server.CreateObject ("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP")xmlHTTP.open "get", "http://stackoverflow.com", falsexmlHTTP.send
I looked around and this particularly helpful suggestion was to use NetSh to configure proxy server for winHTTP. The problem machine is a network using a proxy forum. Even though I configure the proxy to restart, I still get double error.
set xmlHTTP = server.CreateObject ("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP")
set xmlHTTP = server.CreateObject ("MSXML2.XMLHTTP")
msxml3.Error DLL '800c0005'The system cannot find the specified source of information.
I also tried to install MSXML4 SP3 and explicitly create a v4 object with:
set xmlHTTP implies server.CreateObject ("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP.4.0")
I still get the same errors as when using msxml4.dll in the message.
Finally, I tested my Forefront TMG proxy, told my browser not to use fab proxy and used netsh to reset the proxy for winHTTP. Even so, the same errors can still occur even if the browser can still use the Internet.
From what I found it must be a problem with connections made by a specific computer on the very specific network it is on. However, right now I have no idea what the problem is. Everything offeredI was accepted with gratitude.

During ASP development, some friends, especially those who frequently use ASP capture applications, may have encountered the following:
msxml3.dll goof ‘800c0005’
system could not find the reference point specified. …
Many articles on my internet claim that the error is caused by firewall software or UDP site permissions. While it is recommended to open a firewall, etc., unfortunately I found that the following method should always be unique.
When writing programs that use xml componentshttp, you will encounter ‘msxml3.dll’ 800c0005 ‘error. The system could not find the specified resource. ” These types of errors, many of which at the moment, explain the reason for this error on the internet, mainly due to firewall or station port authorization, usually UDP, and the actual corresponding solution is also mentioned. In other cases, this is not always necessary. In fact, the root cause “the system was not displaying the specified resource” is listed in each of our error descriptions. This error occurs when the Open method of this xmlhttp component is called and then the Submit parameter is used. If the URL for the Keep your windows method parameter is not available, this is likely causing error 8000005. If such an error occurs, the application will terminate for you and the process will not be able to continue. Most programs are written like this:
Function functionName (pararm …)
Dim Http
Set Http = Server.CreateObject (“MSXML2.XMLHTTP.4.0”)
With Http
.open “GET”, HttpUrl , False
.Send
Terminate with
If Http.Readystate <> 4 then
Define Http = Nothing
……
Exit function
End if
end
Most functions
Programs use the readystate xmlhttp attribute todetermining the server return status. In fact, it might not be appropriate. In many cases, the ReadyState property needs to be evaluated and cannot actually detect errors in the program flow. If a great error occurs, the program will terminate anyway. Changing the code will allow you to completely ignore any errors that occur when running these programs so that the program will continue to run. The modified code looks like this:
Function functionName (pararm …)
Dim Http
Set Http = Server.CreateObject (“MSXML2.XMLHTTP.4.0”)
With Http
.open “GET”, HttpUrl , False
.Send
End with
Error at next restore
If Http.Status <> 200 then
Http = define nothing
……
End of function
Exit on exit
If the Submit corrective action raises an error, the ReadyState value can be 4, but the status return request cannot be 200. Haha, I followed the readings from ReadyState in addition to several times of the status to get the first results. These might be errors that I haven’t found yet.
Hope the above software solutions help you !! Ifdo you have a larger solution let me know.
I am using MSXML2.XMLHTTP.4.0 as an example to illustrate which program is also suitable for other versions related to XMLHTTP components. To check which versions of XMLHTTP components are installed on your personal system, go to the registry under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.
After the selective information above, I only made the following changes and can still collect data normally without installing core components, disabling restart, disabling firewall and denying:
Data = “/ link? url = http: // shop71231980
(1) This is the most classic version. Your server does not support this and the component version for xmlhttp is low. You need to download the correct component. This server is usually not needed, in most cases it supports xmlhttp, so this is not the case in this tutorial.
(2) The msxml3.dll file may be corrupted or the file’s use rights are currentlyI am insufficient (reading and writing is less likely in this case). If the file is damaged, you need to download the msxml3.dll file from the same system environment on internet 2002 (the system looks like (in c: home system32), you need to close add-ons like iis. Cover.
Appropriate (3) ports depend on a strong antivirus or antivirus product. More precisely, the setting depends on different products. You can try disabling your firewall or antivirus software and then take a test to see if this is the problem.
Try
(4) to save the section again. Start Run: >> regsvr32 msxml3.dll
