Password error bcm43xx_microcode5 Hello. I once tried booting Ubuntu 7.10 from a live CD. I got your error message bcm43xx_microcode. I noticed that some people have this problem with archives, but none of their answers confirm my problem. I am using an HP Dv6000 Pavilion with Windows Vista and just want to get rid of Windows and only have Ubuntu. Can someone explain to me in simple words what to do. I know who has my wifi chip and was told to download the b43-fwcutter package, but I just don’t need to know how to do it all. please continue to thank you. i have to make it work. |

Yes, there is. I still don’t quite understand what to do with the information. Do I now need to install the cutter from Windows i before installing Ubuntu? and hopefully I don’t really know how to do it. I am a remarkably newbie to Linux. I take a semester and do a little Java c programming, but it was all Windows oriented.
