    Hello, thanks for fully diagnosing the answer after posting this comment. The clean error code I received was 0f00 137b. I followed your instructions only to verify drives and other data. Insert installation discs / DVDs, then CD / DVDs, but the process may do less than read tests or browse tests because the drive cannot read discs with the message Insert data CD I mentioned earlier I could not

    If you google the promo code for this error, it says it happens when you check your CD / DVD burner, but there is no media (recordable disc) in it. This is not really a problem.

    Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Windows Vista Community Web site.Try a different CD-DVD or different drive. If the error message persists, the CD / DVD drive is defective.I would recommend contacting Dell for warranty repairs.
