If you receive an error with error code x800, this user guide is here to help you.
I started this line a long time ago, so now I will tell you what I discovered.
I love that for the past few years I’ve had a problem with occasionally turning lights on and off on my website. Recently, however, the lights were finally left on. The error code on my Actron tester was 332 which almost identifies as an EGR problem.
Anyway, I replaced the EGR valve just to be unhappy. The light was still on. But now I know what the problem is. A qualified auto mechanic has explained this problem to me and you will likely find that it also raises the likelihood of your problem.
With the truck idling, disconnect the green hose to the exhaust gas recirculation system. Connect a long, thinner piece of pipe to the EGR valve and vacuum that pipe, even if the truck is running. Does not require strong absorption. If the vehicle stops, you can automatically exclude the faulty EGR control module or clogging of soot or carbon deposits in a specific port. The problem is somewhere in the vacuum that turns the whole tube green.
Then, while the truck is moving, disconnect all green two-pipe hose connectors, most of which are connected to the solenoid valve listed in the next paragraph of the EGR valve. Below it is a whole green tube and a small black tube. This is actually a press that should never crack as it is a type of plastic. The part is a double rubber joint with a green and black tube.
Now check if there is a gap by holding your finger on the bottom of the rubber connector that connects to each black tube. If you do not feel the suction power while driving, then in this case you will definitely get a break from working with the vacuum cleaner.
In short: there is always V-8 type sheet metal, which is definitely responsible for the EGR function. Facing the truck, it is in front of the 12 volt battery. To my surprise, I found that one of the two pipes going to the V box-8, could tear. I wrapped up a thick pipe with the written argument and sealed it tightly. Now that the light is very bad and I am sure this problem has been resolved.
I plan to tie up the pipe instead of electrical tape in order to better seal the pipeline. But in the meantime, the lights have been turned off and I am very glad I found the problem.
Also, I failed three outlier tests before I fixed this big issue and I am confident that if I use the truck again for another test, it will pass. In fact, I passed everything except the NOx test. My reading is over 1700 and the limit is 859 for Ohio.
I just hope I survive the emissions test next time. I think it would have prevented me from passing it right now.
