For 32-bit installations of MOSS Enterprise Edition, I often see event IDs 6482, 6398, and 7076. These events appear in the logs approximately every fifteen minutes and always appear together. The events themselves are related to a job that would not normally run for Excel or Search. Anyway, most SSPs indicate. Details of the error are usually:
So here are the paths to follow to undo / redeploy.
- Be sure to mark which CA port is enabled before undeploying the CA.
- From any command line, navigate to the bin directory in Hive 12.
C: Programs Microsoft Shared Web Server Extensions12bin Files
- Undeploy Central Administration.
- Redeploy part of the central administration.
psconfig -cmd adminvs -provision -port [enter the port number the CA was on]
Events show up fairly quickly in the application log after manually applying this hotfix. However, I would not advise to skip this step since I followed these stepsand for one landing only.
First in IT management services.
Find Windows SharePoint Timer Expert Services in the right window and double-click it to display these properties.
Click the At Logon tab and re-enter the service account credentials. When you’re done, go back to your current general tab and click Stop on Startup.
After completing this step, I no longer received any errors on the actual farm. On another farm, all errors returned after a few days.
Try these steps and see what happens. They only fixed one SharePoint farm I work with, the other is still logging these issues, but I think there is one more thing I haven’t noticed yet.
On the other hand, I am getting a 64 bit MOSS farm that I am using, so I am not getting this approach error. Not sure if your luck or anything to do with the system, imageto all RAM and disk space. I’ll keep you up to date.
- The first place I wanted to fix the error was at support.microsoft.com. I used this KB 923028 as a hotfix. I will not describe the fix here. You You can read the KB type yourself. So, I applied this valuable fix and the bug was fixed first. Didn’t see the bug for about a week, then it starts up again. So, of course, I had to try another activity. Continue
- I tried to deinitialize / redeploy the Management Central website. I’ve used the entire psconfig utility. For those of you new to this utility, it can be found in the back of the bin folder in 12hive. It is the same utility as stsadm, but you can view more information on TechNet to access the centralized administration website.
I tried this to make it easier to read and write to protected memory. This can often be a sign that someone else’s memory is damaged.
Or not
Reason: There is enough memory to process this command.
Also, there are technical details of the error that I won’t go into details, but if you run into these errors, I’m sure your family is familiar with them.
In this blog, I want to detail how to fix these errors. I am suffering from the following fixes applied to duplicated MOSS server farms. If the event has passed, it has been accumulating for more than two months.
Another bucket I used is the same as the steps below, but they are still displayed. When I contacted Microsoft PSS we followed the steps I took and this person simply stated that he knows this process error is happening and currently has no solution, that she is also working on solution a. Support representative sooI sent me the following in my email with her:
I had the pleasure of helping you with your personal problem <7076, 6398, 6482 usage log errors>. I hope you are satisfied with the services provided. As we have already discussed, this is a well-known issue and a final decision on this proposal has not yet been made.
While I am giving you suggestions on how to properly fix this error, there is every chance that you may not be able to fix this issue until Microsoft has a definitive solution. You have not provided me with any information as to whether this can be delivered. I can tell you if I hear anything.
Here are three steps you can take to troubleshoot this MOSS farm. After each step of the process, I waited a certain number of days to see if you fixed an individual bug. You don’t need to take any additional steps if you are not moving forward.
