If you are experiencing an Exchange 2007 SP2 error on your computer, we hope this guide will help you.
This article will help you if you receive a message that you really like when installing Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 2:
Unable to proceed with Exchange 2007 SP2 installation with this particular update because there are files in Beremote
This is primarily due to another service or computer software connected to your Exchange server that we believe was caused by a remote Backup Exec agent. To fix the problem, just stop the service. If you specifically installed the Backup Exec Remote Agent, this service is called “Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers”
I am running BACKUP Exec 12.5 SP2 on a W2k8 Enterprise SP1 node (media server and off-host versus server), some of my W2K8 Ent. Exchange sp1 2007 mail hosting server. I have deployed remote Windows agents on an Exchange server. I can schedule an interesting job, take a snapshot of one of my Exchange mailboxes, monitor our own front-end server, mount the snapshot, and then back up a specific mailbox that is not being backed up.

Bad application beremote.exe, style 12.5.2213.133, invalid time stamp 0x49c7f291, segment kernel32.dll, version 6.0.6001.18215, exception time stamp 0x4995354a, number 0xe06d7363, error offset 0x000000000002619d, process username 0x11240, application start time 0x11240
I can recommend the default files and directories on Exchange 2007, but when I select some of my 12 Exchange storage groups, the above error message is displayed. I have looked through the forums and saw several events when this was happening. One was fixed by modifying the hosts file while Exchange 2007 was running (BUE doesn’t like IPv6?). I usually tried, but to no avail. Has anyone else seen aveoblem?
Current mail site configuration matches Windows 2008 SP2 x64 Exchange 2007 SP2 training
The current BE12.5 server configuration will be Windows 2003 SP2 x32 with 10 be.5 SP3 with the latest patches. Every Windows server has the latest updates and security fixes.
BE-Server installed Exchange SP2 Management Tools on 07
Latest version of Mapi and Collaboration Data Object package installed on Exchange
In any case, I have already done everything that is recommended in Best Practice for the MS Exchange Server BE12.5 agent.
When using GRT to back up an Exchange 2007 data store, the BE server also crashes (BSOD error 0x0000007e) or, in most cases, reports a job error with the following error:
0xe00084f9 – A communication error occurred between the Backup Exec Continuous Job Engine and the remote agent.
Backup- mailsrv.domain.local Microsoft Information Store Second storage group
V-79-57344-759 – The operation for the collected resource could not be completed with the specified parameters for the following reason: After the VFF could not be opened. This is most likely due to insufficient storage capacity or empty disk resources.
I have enough space on both servers. I even connected an extra CD or DVD and used BE for GRT backups (BE – Tools – Options – Backup – Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) ensures that you are using a new hard drive temporarily for data)
Sometimes I completely reinstall the BE and reinstall the element with the current SP and patches. New jobs are created and will stop … Nothing … The same error again …
But where I am using an Exchange IS backup without that damn GRT, everything will be fine … okay, pie. Unfortunately, I really need GRT to be able to receive some Snail messages if I need them.
I’ve read our own Forums, but didn’t find anything that could solve my problem.
Therefore, each new light will undoubtedly be appreciated in this regard.
