– Make sure that the SERVER line of the corresponding license.dat file on the license server and the client file have the same port numbers.
– If the network manager license actually works in Windows Vista, move the manager authorization files from the “C: Program Files” folder to another folder (for example, C: flexlm).

To use a firewall with FLEXnet, you must configure your licenses to use static ports and then even open them on any secure network.
