[Li2727] Recovery Disk
I tried to do a restore set of backups and after inserting a movie disc, data is written for the last 30 seconds and nothing else stops and the disc can possibly be checked, and then a disc error occurs. I’ve tried one or two different DVDs and the disc press doesn’t even recognize DVDs
any suggestion is appreciated.

A friend of mine recently received the AMILO Li 2727, and there was an initial recovery option, but we didn’t have DVD + r discs, so we turned it off. In p There have been few of them in recent days. We now have a DVD + R DVD, but the window that tells us to start the recovery disc does not have an important “Next” at the bottom, so we can move “NEXT” and follow the process. I really don’t know how to start this process manually.
Does anyone have any advice Alt = “: idea:” how to start it manually?

During the boot process, press the F8 key at regular intervals until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears. Does this usually give you the Repair Your Computer feature? After Windows has loaded several files, the “System Recovery Options” are offered,
select the “Restore Fujitsu Siemens Computers” option with the sub-item “Simple backup and therefore system restore”. and let’s go …

Hello TNGC!
Thank you for your input. I only found a few other posts that ask me to usually press the f8 key, but after that it was not very clear which direction to go. Since this is a brand new computer of my friends, I didn’t want to fool around without being 100% sure that I was on the right track. Thanks for your input. Further, the simultaneous process has just ended. It says the following: –
Save factory default settings: –
Factory default settings have been successfully saved.
You have saved the factory settings.
You can still use separate hard drives to restore factory defaults.
Take Serious disc care, these factory settings can only be read on DVD once.
I am guessing that these hard drives could probably be used in the event of a complete hard drive failure. However, if you then get an image of a gesturedisk using an application such as Acronis True Image, these hard disks are not needed, which can make it very difficult to restore an image to a replacement disk. Do you understand that too? Please clarify.
Best regards, Yass

Yes, the disks can only be accessed in the event of a complete hard disk failure, otherwise the user will use the configuration in the secondary partition.
Depending on the stage at which you create the graphics, FSC will make your disk empty, so when you make a disk image (it goes through the setup on first launch), your image becomes, in particular, a copy of your working configuration. As good as your Acronis image contains this special hidden FSC partition, it’s impossible to go in the wrong direction.

I just bought Amilo Li 2727 today and am having the same (similar?) problems with Fujitsu Siemens Computers Recovery system.
When the player first ripped the first DVD when it wasn’t finished, it went through this process and eventually stopped processing the second DVD to a perfect “typo!” On the second try, the same typo occurred while checking the first DVD.

The manual states that at least 3 DVDs are required. However, the entire FSCR says that only 2 will be bought. When I searched the Internet for a recovery program, I read at least one other situation where someone was asked to insert a third recovery disc, but it was not there. Should I be worried about this?
Why is it really necessary for DVDs to be marked as “Recovery # 1” / “Recovery # 2” before inserting them into the drive? As far as I know, it is impossible toBurn DVD without burning (in case it is no longer available for storing recovery files).
According to the manual, this is important because disks can somehow get messed up during the recovery process if they are not labeled correctly. So how does a particular process work with this labeling process?

If you are using DVD + R, the product should burn, but many of us have problems and I’m afraid I can’t give you a solution. The fix from the recording device they use seems to work a little, although I was able to make a backup, I was a little sad reading Windows hard drives.
Two hard drives should be sufficient for the backup, the first is a bootable one and the second one with the installation files (the first could fit on the CD, but FSC wants you to use the hard drive )
As for the title, I think you just want to write on the CD with a pen.
